well.....i ordered the jessops small photo book (enter code get it for free) and made it up with pics of my son and my other halfs son. Theres grannys xmas present!
My sister gave me a bag full of clothes she cant fit into anymore. half of them had never been worn. There were a few lovely ones but for the skinnier, big boobed - no need for bras + no stretch marks kinda gal, which suits one of my best friends (grrrr) so ive wrapped up 4 tops that would be great for her. i wrote a note saying 'not new but suits you' lol (maybe cheap but hey one mans trash is another mans treasure right? plus its better than nothing)
They have a clearance section in clinton cards at the mo and i found a photo frame saying 'grumpy git' reduced from £8 to £2! and coasters with the same kind of thing but saying 'grumpy is the new happy...' for 99p each. PERFECT for my sons grandad who is named 'grumpy' for obvious reasons! I got the pic frame, added a pic of my son and wrapped it from me, then wrapped the coasters from my son
Its my sons 1st birthday in oct. i pulled out the old mobiles and sent them to envirofone. £32 in cash or £35 in argos vouchers for 2 phones! i opted for argos vouchers so now i KNOW i have his present or little bits sorted and can get on with my other halfs birthday in the meantime.
Im searching for mr men themed stuff for party bags/decorations. I have about 6 guests from baby to 4 yrs. Today in tesco i found a small box of 6 mr men books for about £2....so i can put individul books in party bags and spread the cost. bonus!
It is also my sons baby friends birthday a few weeks after so i did another jessops photobook (but signed in as my partner) of the two babies together for a little baby present
My sisters birthday coming up. we have the same taste in things ie makeup so being an avon rep i bought her some clearance items and will make up a little beauty bag for her.
My neighbour doesnt own things like salt, sugar, ketchup and is obsessed with money and tea lol so im sending for tea freebies and condiment samples to make up an emergency hamper along with a pot of gold for luck.
im so proud of myself. its not alot but i could have gone all out and spent money on things i didnt need to.
the granny and grandad presents are for my other halfs grandma who i dont see and isnt v nice tbh lol and my exs dad (my sons grandad) so to be honest i dont want to be spending money on people who arent close family. plus when you have kids everyone expects presents from 'them' as well!!! so they will get what theyre given! lolcamp 12=£443 13=£425 14=£277 15=£474 16=£492 17=£438 18=£437 1=£319 2=£153:o 3=£220 :jSALES LEADER:j4=£202 5=£191 6=£167 7=£193 8=£216 9=£211

WOW
For those of you who remember me saying that my brother is serving in afganistan and i was lost at to what to get him for xmas as all he drinks is grey goose vodka (which is expensive and i couldnt find a local stockist) i had a brilliant delivery this morning.
I wrote of a letter to grey goose telling them about my brother, what he is doing and how much he loves grey goose vodka and asking for a stockist list thanks to someone who supplied me with the address and this morning i recieved big parcel with a 70cl bottle of grey goose, a glass, cocktail shaker and a lovely letter supporting my brother.
I am in shock and tears. Its so nice to think that someone cares about what my brother is doing out there. I am absolutely gobsmacked that they have sent me a bottle, at most i was expecting a few beer mats that i could put in his hamper.
So it was definately worth writing the letter, even though yesterday i was thinking that nothing would come of it.
My brother is going to be over the moon - he's back home in a few weeks and we cant wait. I just need to find a really nice frame for his letter from Mr grey goose.
It has made my week. Thank you to the person who supplied me with the address, i will go through the thread later and find your name and thank you personnaly.
:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T

Hey Guys,
Just need a little help if possible!! I am well on my way to being organised for Xmas 2009, but there is one present I am stuck on!! I am trying to make a Musical themed hamper for a friend and I am getting stuck for ideas
Currently I only have:
CD boxset of musical songs £1.99
Never Forget the musical DVD £4.00 (we recently went to see this and she loved it!)
I only wanted to spend about £10, so only have £4 left! I already have the box and wrapping paper to wrap it and pack it, just need some other things to put in the hamper itself.
Anyone have any idea what else I can buy, with a very small budget of £4?
Thanks in advance!
