my sister is the most difficult person to buy for ever ! she is allergic to every cream soap and spray going, only wears platinum jewellery and wears expensive clothes, i hate buying for her and hate her buying for me, ahe always gets me things that she likes, like last xmas she asked me what i wanted and i said maybe some nice cardies (i live in cardiagans ), she knows i hate the colour red and that it does not suit me so she went out and bought me 2 jumpers in RED! she said if i didnt want them then she would have them.......................
sorry for the rant but my sister has been round today and bought up what i wanted for xmas
Thanks
Chaos
I had a 'friend' who did something similar to me so for a couple of years I sponsored a donkey (from the Redwings sanctuary) in her name and then I suggested we just did token presents (chocs/wine/M&S cake) for another couple of years and then I finally said that as grown ups we didn't really need to wait for Xmas to buy things we wanted/needed and perhaps we should leave the present giving for just the youngsters. I was amazed when she was absolutely ok with the idea.
With my own brother and sister for years and years, we've only bought for each others children and their children, because they are both so hard to buy for AND live at opposite ends of the country.0 -

Also my nanna's side of the family is huge so if there is anything she'd like, she'll ask one of my aunties or my mam for it. Will probably just get chocolates in the end
How about cross stitching something for her? My Grandma is a nightmare to buy for, so for the last 2 birthdays and last christmas I stitched her a Lizzie Kate 'season' picture. I have 'Autumn' left to stitch for this christmas. (Goodness knows what to do for her 90th in March ) You could stitch a coaster or bookmark, maybe? That would be practical as well as pretty.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

decided to do my auntie and uncle a "holiday hamper" for x-mas as they go away alot and i thought this would be nicer than a bottle of wine as they have always been my closest a&u. so far on my list for it i have, condiments, small body washes &sprays shampoo's ect - they have them on offer in asda. and was going to get a couple of expandble flannels, can any one think of anything else? was thinking of flasks but they already have a few of those. any help much appreciated.
Boots have passport covers in the sale which were down to a couple of quid and also what about the little travel bottles that you can put your own shampoo etc in they are about a pound for a set in bodycare:DV 12500 B 8300 N 1900 Oct £51/£1550 -
