I have picked up loads of ben 10 stuff from B&m and got a few bits in tesco's today which were technically free. Mr T sent me a £8 off £80 spend voucher so i got a ben 10 DVD for £6.71 and it also had 200 points which is £8 in deals towards our wedding rings.
In fact his hamper box is almost finished as i cant fit anymore in it so i might post a picture. Have no idea how much its cost as its been a case of see something and buy it, but considering most things are less than £2 he's got a lot for his money.
If you have a poundworld near you they had ben ten bath buddies in at a pound each, they are like round flannel/ sponge and they had fourarms, grey matter and the green one (sorry can't remeber the name of that one, my ds2 wouldn't be happy with me:o)

If anyone as buying anything Ben10 for anyone Tesco had some great stocking filllers less then half price some of it we got 2 collectible card games there in lovely tins should of been £12.99 each we got them for £2.98 each
Thanks - my son Benjamin is absolutely Ben 10 mad so that will come in handy - may look in tomorrow when hes back in school and see what they have in.
SHOPAHOLIC - Welcome to the thread. Im allergic to cherries and nuts so i dont make cakes etc but Im sure some have mentioned making there's in October.
RAGZ - I have to agree with Princess. I take a small notepad out with me and it has my list written in the front with what I'm hoping to give to people but if i see something better that I think will be referred then I possibly get that instead and I can tick hamper items off as i see them. Its good for writing down possible gifts too and where you've seen items and prices.
Loving it this week as I spent all of Sunday putting out big tins of chocolates ready for Xmas in work. Going to start saving food stamps now i think in Mr T and also want to put soem pennies aside on a Coop saver card for my mum. She struggles enough as it is (a useless boyfriend and my sister scrounging off her ) so figure if i can save £30 on a card that can be part of her Xmas present too so it means less stress for her then.Time to find me again0 -

my sister is the most difficult person to buy for ever ! she is allergic to every cream soap and spray going, only wears platinum jewellery and wears expensive clothes, i hate buying for her and hate her buying for me, ahe always gets me things that she likes, like last xmas she asked me what i wanted and i said maybe some nice cardies (i live in cardiagans ), she knows i hate the colour red and that it does not suit me so she went out and bought me 2 jumpers in RED! she said if i didnt want them then she would have them.......................
oooohhh, i also bought my cone bags, hot chocolate, choc chips and marsh mellows for my snow man soup.
sorry for the rant but my sister has been round today and bought up what i wanted for xmas
Thanks
Chaos

then come on here and tell us how your doing, if you've spotted any bargains and where from, and you might also spot a few bargains get some ideas from us lot too.
Did my first official bit of xmas shopping today. Couldn't resist the bargains I found on HalfCost (many thanks to whoever mentioned that site earlier in the thread!)
So have bought a funky coloured makeup bag with brushes for little sis, who's only 13 (£1) May also get her some bright socks from primark to go with this.
A few vodka glass and 50ml sets (£1), will do for Dad and brother with a pair of socks each (they ask for socks every year and never get them lol).
A few of the little metal buckets at a £1 each, either to fill with crayons and give as gifts to friends' kids or to keep for my lot!
A few of the Fragrant Gardener bath soaks and hand creams, just because I loved the name! Thought they'd go nice in a little basket as mini gift sets for my step mother and MIL, also £1 each item.
In total (including delivery) I spent £16, just got £20 payment from Quidco so I'm calling it free lol. Esp if OH asks!June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

That's a nice idea, may do that for my parents... they're always more skint than I am, but a lot more generous which is probably they're skint lol. I have no idea where I get my money sense/stingyness from!June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

I have to find as many ideas as possible for items that can be made easily and inexpensively, but look good, so that I can sell them at a Christmas Fair for charity.
Earlier on in the year, I managed to get loads of fancy fur type wool at Wilkinsons for 25p each, and have managed to knit about 10 scarves so far. They only cost 75p each, and I think that I could sell them for £3 or £4.
Having spent nearly all day reading these posts, the other ideas that I thought I could do were snowman soup in mugs and reindeer food bags. Has anyone else got any ideas??0 -
Did some more Christmas and birthday shopping today;
a laptop bag and optical mouse (£19.99 ) for OH to use as his travel survival hamper (either Christmas or Birthday)
A reduced Ted Baker large men's toilettries bag form Boots Clearence for £1.75 and a King of Shave Pre Shave Scrub for £1 to go in Brother's skincare mini hamper for Christmas
Some Dove reduced Pro Age Handcream, body wash and neck serumfor Mums Pamper Hamper for Christmas as she loves this range, hoping she won't take offence at the neck serum!
Nice mug for £1.99 for brother's Christmas Eve Hamper to make Snowman Soup in
Pepper grinder for OH Food Hamper at Christmas (yes he needs one and he will look gone out at me, I think he expects the odd unusual and made present from me!)
The laptop bag was the dearest thing, he wants one and it is good quality and on "offer"at half price. Thought I would use it as the basket for the hamper.
Getting organised is working well and nearly all the small bits are bought for Christmas and feel nice and calm and organised for a change! Thanks to the thread and ideas and help :T
Just need the 2 bigger presents buying for mum and brother. OH still needs to decide what he wants as main present. Have an idea for his birthday.
Thinking about trying to sell some flannel cakes at work closer to christmas but I am struggling to fit them in any cases. Have tried a smartprice plastic wine glass but it leaves a gap at the bottom, usual muffin cases don't work eitherany ideas
