  • just a update on the siansburys overcharge

a guy from customer services rang me today and said the best they can offer is the £15 refund in a voucher which is valid for 2 years. which is a good thing as it costs me £5.20 to get there so im thinking within 2years they must be something that i need from there.
i would have prefered the money that i am down though
  • tink im going to do that this year but will use the the sugar glitter which ive safe for birds/animals that will eat it.
ive heard normal glitter can be fatal to birds, not sure how true it is but i dont want to get up on xmas morning and my garden looks like a scene from 'the birds'!!!

Better to just use coloured sugar just to be safe, I imagine eating lots of glitter would clog up the digestive system for such a small animal and cause problems. It's really easy to make coloured sugar too, just put a tiny drop of food colouring into normal sugar and 'knead' it through with the back of a spoon.

I've got a cheque to put in the bank on Tuesday, so when that clears through I'll be making a trip to Boyes for all my Christmas crafty materials so I can finally make a start :D Will also have a look around town to see if I can pick up any little presents too while I have a bit of extra cash going
D'you know, in 900 years of space and time, I've never met anyone who wasn't important
