speaking of christmas puds dh told me last night that his parents love it. fil even eats his with cheese (thats not right surely?!?)

    :lipsrseal:lipsrseal:lipsrseal:lipsrseal:lipsrseal:lipsrseal

    That sounds disgusting

Im not a fan of Xmas pudding or mince pies although am allergic to nuts and cherries so neither seem to be a good idea but boyfriend likes the Tescos ones that have icing on the top.

Think I'll scour the charity shops - I have 5 in my little town too - surely i can find something!

Does anyone know how to get my Tesco Clubcard set up so it only pays out points at Christmas? I know that you used to be able to do it, but get the feeling they may have stopped it because when I rang them up, they said I had to get it done instore, and Cust. Services said I had to speak to Clubcard! AARGH

I think you have to ring and get it changed and they pay out in November. x

    CHEESY

Snowman soup is hot chocolate with marshmallows in it.

Some people also add chocolate chips etc to the mix to make it more chocolatey.

Theres lots fo recipes on the snowman soup thread somewhere.

My mum eats christmas cake with cheese, dont know how it works with christmas pudding though.

Got a few bargains in TK Maxx today:
In the night garden night light & torch for £12 (RRP £25),
In the night garden wooden fold out play scene £4.99 (RRP £9.99)

They had loads of stuff in - was gonna get DS some more magnext but couldt remember which sets we had already bought and i didnt want to double up on them.

B&M is my favourite store at the minute - think their gonna name a store after me if i keep spending so much money in there.

They always seem to have everything i want / need.

Is there a matalan clearance near Stockport/Manchester. Tried to google it and got nowhere.

I did the same with the Matalan store in Killingworth, Newcastle. Tried searching for clearance stores but couldn't see anything, then found it was just a normal Matalan store with a clearance section. If you find the number for any Matalan shop in your area, try phoning them and asking if they have a clearance bit?

    Hi

Lush have a really good one too, its called Coalface and you can buy it via their website if you don't have one nearby. (Sorry, website isn't letting me post links)
Can I just add that this thread, and the others like it, are fab and have made me determined to be organised this year. Love all the suggestions and hints and tips. Thanks everyone.
