Hi All
i have finally gotten around to my picture taking for you so here goes.
This is the diary, paper, ribbon and flowers to decorate the diary for my nan with.
Brought this photo album and ribbon today to decorate it with and one of the flowers from the diary kit and possibly some purple ribbon too.
this is the flowers that I plan to use
and this is the infamous cross stitch that has been 15 years in the doing - I'm about 3/4 done now so just going for the final push but found out today that the craft shop I use deals with the framers regularly so I can go through them so wont have to worry about dates to pick it up etc.
Right now hope those pictures worked and arent too big!Time to find me again0 -

Would check out any wmiths that are in your area:D
For cards - the card factory had a big bin of old cards from last year that they were selling cheaply - some are cheap looking cards but I found last year a little bit of pritt stick and glitter soon spruces them up and makes them look a bit better.
Tinksy
Thank you all that have advised. Just reading my way through you all. Hopefully i'll find something to replace the stuff my OH binned!Spare change tin in force this year!NRAM PPI : £6022.56 - WIN! :jLLOYDS PPI : £4684.66 - WIN! :jMy Pearl of Wisdom : Don't be scared to say "I can't afford it", or "I'm skint" to anything... If you're lucky, you'll still be able to do what you want, just find a different way -and if you can't, you don't need it anyway!0 -
Phew - it's a busy forum this! I hadn't realised. Perhaps it's a little tooooooo busy for me. A thread this long alone takes an age to read. There's just too much info.
I'm keen to stick up a couple of good Christmas gifts websites I've found but aren;t allowed to do so being a newbie. Does anybody know how soon or how many posts I need before I can post a link or three?

I think you can post them but leave spaces so they're not a link? Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.
If you quote me, don't forget the capital 'M'

Cat - I thought you could post them anyway??
very strange indeed - I've no idea of post count. Have you tried using the link button on the message box you have - its an earth with a paper clip type looking shape - then just copy the http code on the sites page into it (with copy and paste) and it should work ok
and yes this thread is probably one of the busiest im on.
There's this one
Crafting for Christmas
and the Thrifty girls organised for Christmas one.
They usually have another page by the time ive signed off at night and back on it the morningTime to find me again0 -
I've just been catching up with some of the other threads including one where the neighbour flashes her boobs at somebody's father as she sunbathes and he doesn't like it. You see the whole world on here obviously.
I've tried to post a link to that Christmas Gifts for men website again but it won't let me. It say as a new user you're not allowed to post links. I wonder when you're no longer a new user?
Anyway the website is christmas-gifts-for-men.co.uk0 -

You do read allsorts on this forum, i have had a right giggle at some of the stories and then sat looking in horror at others. Almost makes me feel sane.:D
You know its getting really bad when on the rare occasion that both children are with the relatives for the day at the same time and DF turns to you and says i want to spoil you tommorrow - what would you like to do and you reply - a trip to the craft shop there's loads of stuff i need. :rotfl:
Do any of you have ideas for my favour cheque book.
I have spend all afternnoin cutting bits of card to make tea bag holders and made a cheque book for my SIL. I want to fill it with about 10 favours: ie 1 nights babysitting but i'm drawing a blank for ideas.
I cant decide wheter i want them to be useful favours or tongue in cheek totally useless favours.
So any suggestions would be a great help.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!:T0
