SeptemberIf you go through Harrahs Hot Deals you can still get a Deluxe room at IP for the week for $279 plus tax...that's for 2 adults though - if you have 2 adults and 2 kids it jumps to a whopping $699...so as was previously suggested, you may want to get 2 rooms.
That's funny. When I checked an hour ago I got $370, but I've just tried again and got $289.0 -
Hi all just back from LV- have tried twice to post ( both long) and the site has thrown me out even though I was logged in so will send this and see if I can update on the LV trip later0

Maybe it just doesn't like long posts- want to update on the $20 dollar sandwich at Paris.Handed everything over to Charles including the $20 dollar at the same time asking for a complimentary upgrade, after clicking away he then said we could have an upgrade so I asked if this was a red room, he said it wasn't but we could have this room if we wanted and then went away and came back with large photos of the rooms and said we could choose! We chose the rooms with a view of the strip, over the pool ET and Bellagio and fountains.0

So far so good- will try and make this one longer, so Charles handed over our key cards, pp and returned the $20 bil, we said no it's for you but he wouldn't hear of it despite trying our best, he just smiled and held up his hands. The room was great really large as was the bathroom with every amenity.
Took bfast there next day for ease, and wasn't disappointed, the best £10 a head for breakfast really excellent, so we went there the next day too and was told by an American lady that Paris offered one of the best bfasts on the strip( maybe because she took her husbands back up to the room in a doggy bag!!)0 -
Paris was like being in Epcot for those who have been to Disney-but it's location on the strip is perfect, and for £43.00 a night was excellent value.
CDS LOVE at Mirage was amazing we all enjoyed it so much and would go again- all the seats are good so no need to pay a fortune. Cheesecake Factory great food and very good value for money. Downside to LV was the heat but we had to go at this time, but the place seemed really busy, plenty of people there, would go again but another time of year.0 -

If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -

I was surprised the heat didnt really bother me and OH with our pasty skins
didnt feel uncomfortable and sweaty at all.. infact it was once we got to a rather chillier and windy san francisco we both ended up with burnt noses! :rotfl:
am feeling a bit more fonder of vegas as the days go by and have had a look at photos again! it is a mad place, cant say i'll ever go there as a main holiday but would be good to have another few days there.... sometime0 -

Cheers guys! I researched last night and I don't think the problem will be with the hotels, well not as much, its more the flights. Virgin and BA have both whacked the price up to almost £600. If I go with AA, then it brings 4 adults in 2 rooms for under £2k, but that means a 16hr journey consisting of one stop.
Hopefully, what I've lost out on in flights, I will replenish with exchange rates (here's hoping) :beer:0
