There are 6 of us going so 3 x 2 people in a room.
The people i'm going with would prefer to stay in the one hotel & not change mid trip.
i've looked on Fatwallet & Smarter vegas & can't find a better deal at present than the £300 per person per room that Expedia are giving me. From the research i have done i doubt i can get a cheaper room in the Bellagio than $1000 for 7 nights at present. Please advise me if in your opinion i can.
The £660 per person on expedia is inclusive of flights too
Maybe check cityandshow.com - I haven't used them but a few others here have and have had good luck with good rates for the higher end hotels. 2% on Quidco as well...AFAIK their rates are per room, not per person.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

SeptemberHi all,
Not posted for a while but I have been keeping up to date.
I've found another new attraction due to open soon at the MGM Grand possibly by the end of the summer. CSI: The Experience.
"The attraction presents visitors with several crime scenes and clues they can use to crack the case without leaving the comfort of MGM Grand"
Here's the link to the story with a lot more details.

So any CSI fans out there want to try this out????
StewThe common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -

October , NovemberUS Airways flights connecting in Philly is one i have done . Philly Airport is a okay airport and the flight is not top notch Quality in terms of IFE or free drinks ect , but the seats are comfy and biggest plus (for us at least) is you can 2 seats on their own easily enough
So, US Airways is a good flight? With the boxing being on the same day as we fly to Vegas, the prices with BA and Virgin have increased by about 50%.
We were adamant that we would have direct flights, but i'd be happy to stop iand change if the experience isn't too bad.0 -

Good price for the MGM but this is locals exclusive, they are trying a lot of this at the moment especially in all the buffets, they have created customer lines and locals lines0 -

I wish we were going that way rather than Chicago in Sept but we have a big dance event (4 days) in Chicago on the way home so AA was the way for us this time.Totally Debt Free & Mortgage Free Semi retired and happy0 -

i would say it is a okay flight . it is kind of like you imagine flying to USA in the 80's was like .
I can forgo any luxuries like fancy food , free drinks , IFE , ect ect if me and the wife have 2 seats on their own , that have a reasonable pitch/comfort . and when we flew on this flight thats what we got .we were delayed with them but that can happen to any airline .
Get a Ipod , have a F.E.B before take off and i'm a happy bunny .
i vowed last year to never take Virgin's direct flight to and from Vegas again ( while they have 747's in service at least) and it would be a total no brainer now US Airways fly from Birmingham .
of course changing does mean extra risk of lost bags ect , but you just cannot worry about things like that when it could happen flying direct as well .Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -
October , NovemberTrets77, How long is it since you flew with them? They do have seat back entertainment on the transatlantic legs. It is VOD, so you can watch what you like when you like. All the soft drinks are free too. I don't drink alcohol when I'm flying anyway.0
