    Thanks Claire.

I looked at it the other day, but I wondered what stoneman actually had that he could recommend.

Oops sorry. I'm just reading through it now though and drooling:rotfl: next week can't come quick enough for me.

I had the Corned Beef Hash & Poached Eggs, just enough for me, Tracy had the french toast, huge!!!
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

The buzzers go as far as the bridge,(about 15 mtrs) so you can't really wander off to the bar. If you go about 5-6pm we usually get a seat outside straight away. Now for what to eat, this is my favorite restaurant in the whole world, the fillet Mignon is the best I have ever had. You don't need to order loads of stuff either, you get hot baguette for free to start with, so you only need to order your main, and you MUST try the croque macaroni cheese, to die for. Our last meal there we both had the roast chicken which comes with fries and a small side, one order of the macca cheese, a bottle of the cheapest red they have, which is very nice, don't let the waiter try and get you to spend more on a bottle, just trying to work his tips, the cheap stuff is very acceptable. We sat there for 2 hours, saw 4 Bellagio shows and the total bill was about $90 including 20% tip best $90 you will spend in Vegas IMHO

Thanks for the info, but wedding is not till 6-30 and out at Valley of Fire so we have a 1 hour drive back. Then photos along the strip so i am guessing we will not be eating untill 10 at the earliest.

Fillet Mignon and fries with a side a maccaroni cheese it is for me then :D

Corned Beef Hash was the one thing I was fancying off the menu if I don't go for the steak and eggs. I'm guessing it was a lot better than the stuff you get at buffets?

That's the one!! If you are feeling adventurous try the creamed cauliflower, sounds awful but it's delicious, and at only $6 it's gotta be worth a punt.

Not a lot you can do with CBH really, just well presented, and the poached eggs and peppers were really nice, and not huge portions either, which I really like. The coffee was excellent, not too strong, but watching all the French people at other tables dipping their baguettes in their coffees was a bit strange to see _pale_

I love the Filet Mignon with Merlot Butter and always have the same thing. I once had it with truffle butter as well, but I didn't like that. Never had it with mac n cheese so will have to remember that.

Yes the creamed cauliflower was nice. They used to do Provencal vegetables, but haven't seen them the last couple of visits. They were a bit like ratatouille.

You keep asking questions, but haven't had the courtesy so far to acknowledge the replies you have had or even click the Thanks button, but have just gone on to ask another question.

You may find people more willing to help if you were a little more gracious.

Luci, sorry i have only just noticed the thanks button.

will thank the responses now, and thank you everyone for your help, much appreciated!

We could perhaps have a meet seeing as we're there at the same time?

OH will kill me if I say I have 3 meets planned!

I have very vaguely thought about 3 nights in NY before a Vegas trip and next year would have been the time to do it, but I saw the price for the flight, panicked and booked for just Vegas. Maybe if I'd thought about it more. NY isn't a place I've ever fancied.

Luci - he will kill you!!

We could meet before the gig for a few drinks?

BTW - still not booked - NY offer not available just now & Expedia site playing up too.
