I'm sure you will be very happy with the Venetian . in any other city it would be the best hotel by a country mile , in Vegas it is probably top 5 .

Wynn was designed to be a another notch up from the Venetian i think .

Thanks so would you say the Wynn is number 4 or 3 or 2 ? :D

You keep asking questions, but haven't had the courtesy so far to acknowledge the replies you have had or even click the Thanks button, but have just gone on to ask another question.

You may find people more willing to help if you were a little more gracious.

I would put the Skylofts at No1 and the Four Seasons at No2. After that I would put the Encore, Palazzo, Wynn, Venetian then Bellagio.

    Just my opinion.

You will be fine with the Venetian, but it may be a little worn as it is a bit older than the rest.

The Encore opened last December, the Palazzo the year before and the Wynn in April 2005. The Venetian is older than that.

Check out https://www.booking.com for your dates as they have some excellent rates for the Wynn and Encore. I am paying $135 for the weekend when the best offer normally is $219 and $199 for the Wynn.

    Try here:

If you don't know which plane you are on, you can ask in the Flights forum on Holiday Truths.

Great this is just the type of info I was hoping for
The buzzers go as far as the bridge,(about 15 mtrs) so you can't really wander off to the bar. If you go about 5-6pm we usually get a seat outside straight away. Now for what to eat, this is my favorite restaurant in the whole world, the fillet Mignon is the best I have ever had. You don't need to order loads of stuff either, you get hot baguette for free to start with, so you only need to order your main, and you MUST try the croque macaroni cheese, to die for. Our last meal there we both had the roast chicken which comes with fries and a small side, one order of the macca cheese, a bottle of the cheapest red they have, which is very nice, don't let the waiter try and get you to spend more on a bottle, just trying to work his tips, the cheap stuff is very acceptable. We sat there for 2 hours, saw 4 Bellagio shows and the total bill was about $90 including 20% tip best $90 you will spend in Vegas IMHO
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

This is what I was desperately trying to post last night when the forums were down. MON AMI GABI DINING CERTIFICATE

    It's a $50 dinining certificate for $25 + $3.75 shipping and handling. It's only good for breakfast between 7-11am.

One major problem is that they don't ship to the UK. However if you have friends or family in the US or Canada you can have it shipped there and have them send it to you.
Luci, we have had breakfast there and if there were only 2 of you, you couldn't spend $50 unless you had a big appetite. Really cool to sit there and watch all the clubbers staggering down the strip at 7am in the morning. :D
