Luci - price are the same with Continental & Expedia - based onyour probs the other day I take it I'm best to book with Cont??

    Thanks

Absolutely book direct with the airline. I would now book direct even if it was more expensive but only if the difference was minimal. The reason I booked with NetFlights was because the difference was over £400 for the 2 of us. I've found the American carriers to be much more accommodating if you are not happy with a schedule change.

We could perhaps have a meet seeing as we're there at the same time?

OH will kill me if I say I have 3 meets planned!

I have very vaguely thought about 3 nights in NY before a Vegas trip and next year would have been the time to do it, but I saw the price for the flight, panicked and booked for just Vegas. Maybe if I'd thought about it more. NY isn't a place I've ever fancied.

Is that Excaliber deal giving 2 all day buffet passes each night, or per stay?

I am also very tempted to have a couple of nights at Wynn at those prices ;)

It's not clear, but my understanding of the email I received was that it was for every day of your stay, but it just says per reservation.

You could try calling them, but if it's anything like the similar MGM offer, different people were told different things when they called.

That's the lowest I've seen for Wynn and no promo code needed.

December ( including Xmas and New Year )
Stayed in the Mirage Christmas 07 albeit before the rooms were refurbished and stayed in Palazzo last Christmas and there is no comparison at all, the rooms in the Palazzo are far superior to the Mirage and much as I like alot of the restaurants in the Mirage just getting a coffee/tea in the Palazzo is far easier than the queue in the Mirage. The rooms/suites in the Palazzo are probably the nicest we have stayed in (so Far!) Looking for the December and hoping Wynn/Encore have some good deals then.

We stayed at the Mirage last September, tipped at checkin and got a renovated room with private lifts. Very much enjoyed our stay although the hotel can seem a little busy at times, especially the pool area. But I'd definitely go back there if the price was right. Best of all for me was the location.

I see Hotwire doesn't get too many mentions on here. Just booked 5 nights Fri-Wed in August for $595 with taxes. The 5 star booking could have been at either The Venetian or Wynn but the trip advisor feedback pointed towards Wynn, which it was.
Well Chuffed for $119 a night over a weekend, even cheaper if you want to book weekdays.

I know it's a bit early but I just had a look for hotel prices for next May, to give me a very rough idea. Anyway, I stumbled upon what seems a really good deal, especially as it can be cancelled up to 2 days before the first night.

On www.booking.com, they've got the Wynn for a whole week for just $767+TAX, which obviously includes a Sat & Sun. Even with the 12% tax it's only $122 average/night. Now I know that better deals may well come along, but it's a great opportunity to get something booked if you've got flights sorted.

looking at booking this package as well

will there be any cancellation fees?

if i decide to cancel, i have 2 days prior to arriving to do this? do i cancel through booking.com or the hotel?

    thanks
