Hi just a little question... we have booked the venetian for 5 nights in october but just through looking other stuff up came across the Wynn website - it looks amazing! Is it just a good website? The venetian doesnt seem to have as good pics etc but everyone we have spoken to says how amazing the venetian is especially as its our honeymoon? Thanks

I know it's a bit early but I just had a look for hotel prices for next May, to give me a very rough idea. Anyway, I stumbled upon what seems a really good deal, especially as it can be cancelled up to 2 days before the first night.

On www.booking.com, they've got the Wynn for a whole week for just $767+TAX, which obviously includes a Sat & Sun. Even with the 12% tax it's only $122 average/night. Now I know that better deals may well come along, but it's a great opportunity to get something booked if you've got flights sorted.

looking at 4 nights in april/may for stag's

wynn is coming out at 438 plus tax, but there are also offers for an mgm suite for $596 plus tax

in your opinion, which is the best deal??

The Wynn is nice, I stayed there in June in a !!!!!! suite, but try next door at Encore, I really enjoyed that much more than Wynn, even though I was in a standard room in Encore it was just as nice as Wynn apart from it didnt have a large living room, but you sill got a nice sitting area in encore

I'm sure you will be very happy with the Venetian . in any other city it would be the best hotel by a country mile , in Vegas it is probably top 5 .

Wynn was designed to be a another notch up from the Venetian i think .
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:

when booking it, the conditions state that a booking fee is charged, is this correct?

    Deposit
    • 100 percent of the first night will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable.

Okay, I have gone ahead and booked the Encore for our first 2 nights, which are Friday and Saturday, at $135/night.

Many thanks for the heads up.

Tempted by Wynn at $109, but I'm not keen on staying in that area for any length of time. It's a bit too far north for me.

did you have to pay a deposit?

i am looking at booking in advance as well

    its not a booking fee

all Vegas hotels ask for at least the first night paid in advance.

The balance is paid when you check out of the hotel

It is fully refundable if you cancel at least 2 days before your travel date.

Virgin sale prices for Vegas are only through to 10th Feb 2010

I think the BA sale has dates through June 2010
