Well I can now say that I am going to Vegas THIS MONTH!!

Off to order my 24/7 Magazine in a mo. Still toying with booking Peep Show.

We are in the middle of decorating so that is helping the time to pass a bit quicker.
  • Hi all - we are off to Vegas next August to get married - the plan is to spend a few days in Vegas then move on up to LA.
My question is - does anyone know of a comfortable but reasonable hotel which will accomodate 5 to a room / suite as we will have the 3 kids with us - hence only staying a few days.
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated as I`m having trouble finding accomodation for more than 4 .

You can get 2 bedroomed suites, but you will probably be cheaper with 2 rooms with 2 Queen beds each which have a connecting door. Most hotels should be able to accommodate that.

Most won't guarantee connecting rooms though, they'll only log it as a request...there are loads so chances are pretty good but not definate...when we went with my in-laws best they could do was across the hall from each other and then mid-trip we had to move due to a plumbing issue with the sink in our room so were in different wings on the same floor.

And yes, I woke up this morning thinking 'I'm going to Vegas THIS MONTH!' Very exciting.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

I read it as hotel too. :)

For us, we love checking in online - it's so nice to get it done and our boarding passes printed and just drop the cases. Also better chance to get your preferred seats if you check in online. One of the things I'm going to miss flying AA is we can't check in online the day before.

I've booked this offer for 14 -18 Dec for $48 a night before moving to the Bellagio on 20th for 10 nights over Xmas period for $90 pn, which is really good. Also having a couple of nights in between downtown at the Golden Nugget as have always stayed on strip and always seem to miss seeing the light shows. So no excuse this time.

    Christ on a bike!

Just seen prices for LOVE at $170

That is at vegas.com so there must be less expensive methods of obtaining these tickets.
