Well I can now say that I am going to Vegas THIS MONTH!!

Off to order my 24/7 Magazine in a mo. Still toying with booking Peep Show.

We are in the middle of decorating so that is helping the time to pass a bit quicker.

How does one order a 24/7 magazine?

I feel as I've lost out before my trip starts - that's what a little greed does for you - the $ is like snakes & ladders just now though. With only 2 weeks to go I'd be as well taking the $1.61 they have on offer just now.

And I forgot to order vouchers from Restaurant.com & they vouchers expired - numpty!!

On a brighter note we're going to Vegas in 2 weeks!!!!!!!

    still to do:
    - car hire to book - hopefully do that tonight!
    - helicopter ride over GC to book (looking for something which flies from within the GC rather than from LV - could this be left til we get to LV?)

    anything important missing??
also, would anyone recommend a helicopter ride over the strip? since we will be doing a helicopter trip over the GC it has less appeal... but maybe we should do both!

    thanks!
    xx

We go in 5 weeks for the first time and have a very similar list, we booked our car hire through netflights but noticed last weekend they had a sale on american car hire which unfortunatly made it cheaper than I paid, if you book with them I think quidco do 5% cashback and you can prebook additional drivers and a full tank of fuel which I did. Cost us about £220 for a Chrysler Sebring for 10 days.

I have exactly the same questions regarding helicopter trips as we too are having a few nights at the Canyon but all the trips I have seen are from Vegas so will be interested to see if anyone has the answer :).
Have looked at strip flight for £43.08pp with Viator and am tempted to book but would love to hear if anyone has used them before :)

Greed is what got me but have learnt my lesson! I would take the $1.61 as was reading on another forum the other day that people that have just returned had been getting under $1.60 (I think something like $1.57) out there cashing sterling travellers cheques. Would hope you would get a better rate with a card though, I did a few dollar transactions a few weeks ago with my nationwide card and got rate of $1.63. Have a fab holiday :j

I had read about him on other sites and didn't pay much attention until his show actually opened around March. All the reviews were excellent so I looked a bit further. At first I thought it wouldn't be for me if he was impersonating US stars, but I kept reading and found I recognised all the ones mentioned.

He is a ventriloquist/impersonator. Now that's the kind of thing that would have me running in the opposite direction, just doesn't appeal at all, but the reviews were so good I decided to give it a try.

I am so glad I did. The guy has a great talent and we laughed from start to finish. He has a website where I think you can watch clips.

    Highly recommended.
