SeptemberI emailed NetFlights yesterday and they have just called me. I am raging.
They have now changed our flights yet again, even though I haven't been advised by email, and we are now going via Washington and don't arrive in LAS till 19.22. Looks like the concert is goosed.
It needs to be a major change of 4 hours or more before they would change to the day before or offer a refund. I asked if this was 4 hours from the original flights and was told that it's per flight, so they can keep changing it by 1-1.5 hours and even if it's more than 4 hours different to our original flights it won't count.
I feel sick.
No wonder -I would be raging too.
I know getting into Vegas at 19.22 isn't ideal but if you were lucky with immagration etc. you could still make it as I don't see them starting until 9 - it was 8.45pm last week but only because the park has a curfew of 10.15pm.
I feel like giving up due to the yoyo pricing of Expedia/Continental.
The price came back down Thursday night then was back up when I got in from work & has been since.
Looking & using Edinburgh both ways now but it's getting to & from the airport from Glasgow. Currently working in at £426pp on both sites.
Only main difference is the time into NY is 3pm whereas the Glasgow departure gets you in there at 12.15ish.0 -

Sorry Luci...I really feel for you - it seems ridiculous that they can move the flight times a bit at a time and get around the 4 hour thing...
On the concert - maybe contact the venue and say that your flight may be later than planned and is there a way your tickets can be held? I'm not sure what happens if you don't pick them up an hour before - if you get a refund and they resell them, then perhaps that's not as tragic as if you don't get a refund and they resell them...I know missing the concert will be a drag, but at least if you're not also out of pocket. It may be that you can resell them on ticketmaster's site - I know you can for some, but not all shows (I'm probably going to sell my Andrea Bocelli ticket at the O2 centre as it's the night before we fly - totally forgot about it when we booked our flights...and in that case, it's not one you can resell through ticketmaster so different shows have different rules).Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Just a thought - Friday was a bank holiday in the US so most people would have not been at work...I'm sure I've read that prices tend to go up when more people will be looking to book. Of course that may be complete rubbish, but maybe wait until next week and check again?

October , NovemberAnyone gone to Vegas with kids?
Maybe send photome a PM - he went several times with his son and found loads for him to do...though then again, one son may be a lot different than 2 daughters...having been a pre-teen daughter, I know from experience.
Not having kids, nor being particularly good with children my suggestions may not be at all helpful...I would consider GameWorks - but stop at Tix4Tonight first to get the $35 all-day pass for $17.50 (plus fee, less coupon) first.
Also the Pinball Hall of Fame?
Maybe they would like the tour of the Ethel M Chocolate Factory?
Possibly Valley of Fire or Red Rock Canyon?
I think as a kid I would have liked all of these things, at least.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
October , NovemberI loved red rock canyon, and I now have the Vegas Bug as well he he going back in November0

In all honesty I'm not sure how to put the whole thing together. I did the multicity for the flights which work out around £426 - £466pp & accomodation total is around £650.
As we're doing NY (3) then Vegas (4 or 5) I just priced the flight with them & Continental - the accomodation is through City & Show.
I did do it as 2 separate trips but it was much more expensive.
Is it possible to price the whole trip with Expedia?0 -

December ( including Xmas and New Year )we plan on taking our kid he will be 6 months when we go in jan plan on going premium econ with virgin, can someone tell me are the seats really 21 inch wide in there as we would rather pay for 2 seats in this class then 3 in cattle class
the seats in premium are slightly wider than economy, but the armrests in between are solid and fixed so you cant put the middle armrest up and stretch out across 2 seats0 -
any one whos been premium with virgin think we should get 2 premium or pay for 3 economy iam a big lad and hate beening squashed up width wise, i understand from virgin website we would get a skycot for the kid in premium and extra width but probley lose the width in economy with bulkhead seats0
