Why are you surprised? She started out a little 'fragile' and I expect the unpleasant critisisms have done absolutley nothing for her self esteem.

    Where are the unpleaseant critisisms?

In my first post I tried to point out that the guy maybe lying to her and she should be careful starting a relationship based on lies.

I wasn't critical or unpleasant to anybody, in fact it was the OP who was critical and unpleasant for me for daring to question what she had posted.

Again, as I said before, it would be a good idea if people read the posts before commenting on them.

If all people want is a nice story, "The Little Mermaid" was on the disney channel this morning, I watched it with my daughter, that was a really nice story that I am sure everybody would enjoy! :rotfl:

Liam - I wasn't specifically referring to you (your comments were sensible !). But the tone and content of a fair few replies has been critical and negative and some have said outright that they don't believe her. I did say before that it may all have been exagerated a bit - but I doubt its a complete fabrication.

I hope it works out well for Sarah and she finds happiness with the guy she's just met. From what she has been through, she deserves it.

Your talking "rot" yourself as you put it.

The OP said that the guy she met was a 21 year old train driver, but on the day she met him he was covering for guard duties. I didn't say what job he did either way.

What I said was, it was very unlikely that a 21 year old would be a train driver, which I think everybody agrees on.

It may be possible that the guy was just a ticket collector, train crew etc, which I implied in my first post. But that is clearly not what the OP said.

You should read the posts fully before commenting on them.

You should try that yourself ;)
I wasn't commenting on your post, rather the one I actually quoted, which you seem to have missed!

I have been PMing Sarah and let's just say things are progressing ! Maybe it is better that way as she can avoid the barrage of criticism on this thread. For those of you who want to egg Sarah on,PM her !

Ok I stand corrected, thought because the post you quoted agreed with what I had said and mentioned me, you were talking about me.

I am quite happy to follow Sarah'S story. It is entirely upto me to decide whether it is true or not.I find it annoying when people come on to the forum and dictate what I should be doing.Live and let live should be the motto. If people choose not to believe her that is fine. But quit telling the others what they should or should not be believing in.

I have very little interest in this story anymore, but it irritates me when people write stuff like this.

Where has anybody dictated to anybody else on this thread?

Just as you have a right to believe the story and make comments on it, other people have a right not to believe it and make comments on it.

Can you please show me where on this entire thread anybody has ever told anybody else what they should or should not believe in?

I have just added Liam8282 to my ignore list.I didn't realise such a fantastic option existed. All you need to do is click on the user name and view public profile. There is an option ignore user. The best thing is that once you put someone on ignore you cannot see any of their posts and you are blissfully unaware of whatever rubbish they spout ! Brilliant idea from MSE.

^ Another user who cannot have anyone disagree with anything they say.

How long before they take me off there ignore list to see what I have written in reply.
