Virgin trains guard

I was looking through the BBC website and there was a news item about Rhianna being subject to domestic violence by Chris Brown.Looks like he will get away with community service. The punishment should be more stringent.DV is not just about physical harm. The emotional impact it has on a person is just horrendous.
Maybe Rhianna will find her knight in shining armour like Sarah !0 -

Oh dear. dfh - have you ever thought that posting these messages may well lead someone from Virgin Trains to actually be able to identify this (apparently uniquely young) driver / guard and just maybe he will have the mick taken out of him???
Well done.0 -
There really is no need for some of the nastiness in this thread.
It may be just an internet comment to you, but the person has already stated they were in an abusive relationship. That's a pretty good excuse for being a little bit fragile emotionally, don't you think? And saying "if you don't want comments then don't post on a public forum" is a bit like saying if you don't want to be mocked for the way you dress then don't go out wearing those clothes - everyone should have the right to express themselves without the fear of ridicule. It really doesn't take much just to be nice.
If you think the person is lying then whatever, leave it. I'd much rather give someone the support they need and be "duped" by a lie than kick someone who's already down. This thing we call failure is not falling down but staying down :beer:0 -

I think the comment is that this is an inappropriate forum for something like this. And particularly inappropriate that the guy in question could be easily identified from his description and that the OP is not posting these comments direct.
Given the OP's apparent fragility, I do not think it is appropriate for ANYONE to post on her behalf. Do you?0 -

So it is only ok for people to make comments if they are what you want to read?
How can you say "everyone should have the right to express themselves", but because we don't agree with you or the OP are comments are not valid?
Also, the only nastiness I can see on this thread, are posts made by the OP and dfh.0 -
Calling someone a liar is pretty offensive in my book - it's not just expressing a different opinion. This thing we call failure is not falling down but staying down :beer:0

^ Please can you show me where I called anybody a liar?0
