Well done for being in the 54k's on the mortgage. I have managed to successfully grow one runner bean. Actually being honest my 5 year old son has grown it. I grew a dandelion! xx

Dandelions are by far my most successful crop Penguin:o!

Had a nice morning - coffee with Jinky and Elantan:D. Didn't manage to make it back in time for gym but have tidied up and sent meter readings so glad of that!

well I did "harvest" some today but they didn't make it into the kitchen:p. Still many more to go... also did a wee bit of tile removal on steps - only another four hundred to go now but it's a start:D!

that sounds like fun lol ... if you ever do fancy eating dandelions ... harvest them while they are very fresh ... the older they last the more bitter they get ... just incase you were interested that is

well you can in fact just eat them raw cut up into salads etc ... like rocket lettuce ... hence the reason to get em while they are fresh ... they are full to the brim of amazing vitamins and minerals and are in fact a wonder food (if you look in the right book obviously lol)

or you could boil them and have them in a soup of your choice just add anywhere you would put lettuce type things

Right ok, drawing a line in the sand here................... and setting myself a new challenge (yes, yet again:o:D:o!!!). I've been reading a lot of threads where people try to make big changes in 100 days so I'm going to try to do a few things in 105 days (extended just to get to another payday there;)).

    Soooooo I need to:

    1. save, save save.... hoping to make 50% of total target but recent holiday/improvements have put me down to 10%

    2. sell, sell, sell - still lots for ebaying here. no big money items but need to declutter

    3. cut down on the food shopping! this has been creeping up again and wine consumption needs to drop drastically.

    4. get the flat sorted - some of this needs big money but there are lots of things that just need some effort on my part either to paint and decorate or call someone to get little things sorted (eg guttering etc).

So roll on 27th October when I shall be reborn:D!
