Well had two NSDs in a row then today my fave on-line running store had a 20% off sale... only bought a jacket guv
did have more stuff in my basket but I need a waterproof jacket for the winter and not the tops I picked up just cos they were pretty.
No surveys for me today, no extra money made but I did drive at 60...Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Lovely new jacket arrived
, and lovely new to me dress - ebay bargain honest guv!
Another NSD here, really didn't feel like making sandwiches but paying for some and using extra flexi to get to the shops didn't appeal either...Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Well have been paid again... and paid a wee bit more off CC.
Fave running shop has 50% off everything this weekend, must not look, must not look...
In other news - don't shoot me down in flames but I decided to get a bank loan to complete all the work this place needs doing. It is only 7.4% APR and living somewhere nice should cheer me up no end, current mortgage and loan combined I will still have a fair bit of equity if it all goes wrong... It's not like I'm going to spend it on shoes...honest guv! Loan is set up for 36 months but that will be my next target after the CC is gone.Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Hiya Skinty,
been meaning to ask if you had your own thread up & running & here you are.
I just skimmed down the page & was wondering how you managed to post on the 13th august, when the last post was on the 15th  ... then re read & realised there was a gap of a year in between
Good to see you, that you've maintained weight & there's a new man on the scene
Have subscribed

Yes Lula, I'm a bit sporadic in posting - really must spend more time here and less on ebay...Nice to see you over here.
It's actually the same man just with a different attitude! All good though:smileyhea
In other news, DS had friend over for the day and I offered to take them out for pizza in the evening - they decided it would be more fun to get one from the supermarket and eat it here - very mse kids
Must get a few bits and bobs of shopping today but reckon there's enough food in to keep us going a while. I must remember to drive more slowly this month as there's a lot of extra work mileage to do (can claim back but will have to pay out of this month's money), a weekend away with pals and wedding outfit and pressie to buy - gulp, sounds even worse when it's all written down...Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Would I shoot you down in flames? Just make sure you set plans in motion as quickly as you can, just so you don't have money sitting in your account earning 0.1% and costing you 7.4%..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Hello again,
excellent news on having raised DS with highly contagious MSE virus. I think unpicking his pocket seams is a bit mean though, even if you do get extra pennies out of it.
Nice to heat that you've succesfully re-programmed a grown up male too. You clearly have a winning way with this species, just make sure your attitude to loan repayments is equally strict
Must dash, have items to watch on ebay :rotfl:0
