    So where was I????

I must confess to another couple of dresses from ebay... but they are both gorgeous and very flattering so don't mind if I do :D

The sun's out here for once :) but today's plans include yet another visit to the tip, got to declutter, must declutter... DS's room is greatly improved but still needs some work, I want to paint it but he needs to get rid of all the junk first. I think later a swim and sauna might be on the cards, having some self indulgent me time after a couple of weeks fitting in with other folk.

Other plans include tackling the ironing mountain and a bit of baking - nothing exciting but I'm loving the lack of excitement this weekend. Can't cope with hectic anymore :o

Got loan through and stashed it in my linked savings account so I don't get confused and spend it on shoes or pretty dresses but just got letter from back saying I'd recently put money in this account and did I want to make it work better for me with savings options...
    Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000
    Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

    Mortgage balance: £36,210

    Money making challenge £38/400

Banks...easily confused...wasn't Lloyds TSB was it? They'd put a stop on my card because of a suspicious purchase. The suspicious purchase in question was car insurance...

That sells well at the car boot...

Girls weekend away, lots of stuff on with DS and W*$K, also been organising a charity thing. Sat down to watch a film with blokey the other night and fell asleep:o, he found it quite amusing.

Fed up of having to be places at certain times - hopefully next week will be a little more relaxed.

:rotfl:No Santa$$er, yes car insurance is a strange one to pick up on, A&L once stopped mine for attempting to spend in a shop I hadn't shopped in before... The girl I spoke to did say it was a bit mad - wasn't for a lot of money either - only about £13.

That's nuts. Did they think you were only ever going to shop in a shop you'd already shopped in before. (say that 20 times quickly)

All they have done is made me bring my plans forward for moving to First Direct. This is not the first time they've done this, and it was equally stupid then.

Weekend again :D it's all going a bit too quickly for me though...

No spends to declare - where's my halo:A? I have been ever so good and seem to have managed to stockpile a load of food too so hopefully that will help throughout the month, I did buy M&S roast meal for a fiver but figured it was worth it as the chicken will do us for a couple of meals and I can't think of anything more appealing right now than some roast spuds:drool:

This weekend shall be mainly dedicated to housework and football, but hopefully it'll be relatively cheap - hoping to put another £100 towards CC on monday which is the day before pay day :D. Must be good, must be good, must not peak at ebay....

    Hiya,

hurray for weekends :j. Well done on the non spending too. Step away from ebay .. although I'm loving it at the moment having won a fabby dress & pair of amazingly gorgeous shoes this week :D

I'm doing a wardrobe stock take & inventory this weekend so I'll know exactly what I have & what I might need.

Of course, this doesn't help when you find something you 'want'.

    Good luck with the abstinence.

I need a dress to wear to a wedding Lula but keep finding lots of nice day dresses... sigh... Have spent a bloomin fortune already - hen weekend away, pressie...
I find it easy to justify spending on clothes I'll wear time and time again but this will be worn a couple of times tops. Must scour shops & ebay this weekend as it's getting close :o
Also can I order a nice dry day tomorrow as I have several loads of washing to hang out.

Dry, sunny day has appeared as requested - thank you!

Just got some good news, sent letter to gym to take DS off my membership as I decided £15 a month for him to swim four times a year wasn't really cost effective, I thought it would be 3 months before they made the change but they seem to be doing it immediately :D

Off to town, hopefully to find a perfect dress for a perfect price...

Ok, no non-budgeted or unjustifiable spends Z! Chicken roasting as I type... Have only spent half the week's food budget so far and managed to get lots for the freezer too :D

Went into town with DS, part of the dress search and managed to spend nothing on me but he got two shirts, a jumper and trousers for school - total cost £22 thank goodness for primani men's dept! Actually I did buy a candle so £2 on me :D offered to buy a hot choc but was informed I should save my money and we could have one at home... sensible child!
