Glad to see that you are making good progress Skinty, a girl NEEDS boots it will be winter soon.

I really should paint our bedroom next week but the thought of starting it is really not appealing to me at all.

it's suddenly gone all hot and sunny here so I've done Scotland a favour:cool:.

Just start Lou, the one good thing is that it dries quicker when it's not so cold, and it'll be worth it in the end.

    oooo, it's been a while :o

Well I've decided that seeing as my flat is still a mess and I'm still disorganised I need to get my butt back over here:o!

I have also got a balance at 0% of £3830 which I wasn't too worried about as I have enough to pay it off in savings but I need to use most of my savings for home repairs and although I'm not adding to the debt I'm not doing much about clearing it either....
Trying to work out where my money has gone over the last year.... clothes, entertainment, a couple of holidays and general frittering I think.

To summarise the last year - have managed to keep the weight off :j:j and have rediscovered my love of clothes, social life improved and there's a lovely bloke too causing distraction;)... DS is starting secondary this year and is not too demanding financially but his clothes are getting more expensive now he's a big lump!

Time to regroup, refocus and fight back! I paid a couple of pounds of coppers into the bank today - you've got to start somewhere...

Off to work out how to change signature...

Hiya Skinty, lovely to see you. Great minds and all that as I just ressurected my diary too:D
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Ok, a post a day makes the debt go away as someone said just yesterday ;)....

DS has decided that rather than do something with me on the last sunday before school starts again he'd rather see his pals... fair enough as he's been at his dad's for a while and hasn't seen them. So today will be tidying up the garden, car washing and ironing - it's a glamorous life :D NSD though!

Also starting as I mean to go on I've transferred £60 that was sitting as a slush fund in my current account to the CC :D less temptation to buy another dress off ebay :o

Who would say something like that?

Will he not be seeing them at school?

Not really, move to big school means they are all in different classes and on the trial days he didn't manage to catch up with them.
