where was I??? OK, not sure how many NSDs I've had in Feb but have had four so far this week:D. Still dieting and exercising like mad and have decided to set myself a challenge for March to make a bit of money towards spending money for my easter hols trip. So far I have saved £60 out of the budget (food and petrol) and think I've got around £50 coming from quidco so my challenge is to make the same again through decluttering... I have money in the budget if I fail but it'd be nice to be able to use that towards doing up the flat.
I've also been reading this thread which has inspired me to try growing a few things this year in the garden so might get some seeds at the weekend to get started.

Lots of NSDs here, but not much money making going on - managed to claw back a fiver from the shopping budget towards the holiday spends but quidco was less than expected (£42)... current total is £105/£200:).
Must do a bit of ebaying this weekend...
Have stinky cold so swithering about going to the gym - think I might go and see how I feel, sometimes it makes me feel better.

With a sudden rush of blood to the head I set up instant payment info for my mortgage account from my current account - decided that I will try and round down to nearest tenner once a week or so and pay a bit extra so tonight's vast payment was for £9.97:D... little by little I'll get there!

Happy Mothers Day everyone and :grouphug: to those who are missing their mums.

Watching a bit of Gok and just saw a fab JP Gaultier dress - only £1843.... maybe next year....

STS weightwise this week but the good news is I now fit into everything in my wardrobe including a pair of jeans that I'd been saving - wore them yesterday but ironically now not that fussed on the cut/colour!

Can't believe it's friday again already - time is whizzing past! and money is whizzing out of my purse... school trips and meals out have made a huge dent in my holiday spends and I now have about £40 left:mad::mad:. Trying not to get too upset as there is still money in the budget for the trip but had been hoping to save a bit more next month, March has been an exceptional month though and not the norm at all. Hoping April onwards will be a bit more settled. Have almost made my mind up to stay put for now so just trying to do the place up now! April's project shall be my bedroom as DS will be at his dad's for a week so I can sleep in his room while I paint:D. Hoping I might have the new boiler in by the end of April too but still getting quotes...
