You are tha last person that I would say is arrogrant or selfish, if anything the completely opposiate end of the scale.
Thats brillaint, about going out with friend, and your 1yr goal, its good to have goals to work towards and whether its a baby step or a giant leap all in the right direction its a massive achievement. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Well, I did it!!! We did it , my dd and I. How I wanted her there last eve because we are a team. My friend and I arrived and I hadn't seen lots of people for so long because Ive taken a back step from the meetings you can go to throughout the year for some two/three years or so. Lots of people asking after dd as when I did go to meetings I would take dd and arrange childcare at the venue of the meeting so she was a well known little face too in those days. So, a lovely meal, my friend and I caught up on our news and then the awards. I was asked to go up to the front of the stage before the top retailer was announced along with another distributorship who ended up being in second place. Oh how my knees shook while the results were being imparted. Please get on with it I was thinking and then when my name was announced I apparently received a standing ovation. I don't remember that as I just went to bits and got swept up in the moment. I have a cup, a framed certificate, a box of choccies and an array of love from the people there who gave me many hugs and congratulations and asked after dd etc. It is an amazing achievement if I say so myself not least because of my falling over and the ongoing daily focus to not fall and the rests I give myself during the day in order to be able to get the work done without falling and bearing in mind its just me and little dd and I am asleep in the eve at the drop of a hat. Had I been able to focus on my speech I would have wanted to convey that more eloguently because I do feel so passionately that disability in business should be embraced far more than it is. Its all so worth it when I am still upstraight with the mtge, am likely to be into the New Year, the debt is reducing, I will be able to pay my accountant and tax bill at the end of Jan. Money is tight but thats ok, we are getting by, we are walking the walk, we are achieving when many said we wouldn't.
Am still v emotional this am. Dd is due back soon , my friend had her for a sleepover and is due to pop in for a cuppa . Its the comments that get me from others. Weve missed you, we think you are such an inspiration, really I say? Its all just beyond me.
So, there you are. Im thrilled and I will just keep doing my best , plugging away and never giving up!My debts at LBM (2009)Grand Total £161,983.77.(Incs everything, mtge, cr cards, loans)

Congratulations on your monumental achievement. I am so please and proud for you.
I hope DD will be shown the certificate and given a special treat for being such a good helper.
Onwards and upwards! There may be the occasional step backwards, or to the side, but you are doing brilliantly: every time you have a doubt, or you feel unsupported by others, just look at that certificate in its beautiful frame on your wall and say 'I did that, and I can do it again'!

How wonderful PAF, so so pleased for you, you're such an inspiration! So glad your achievements are so well recognised within the business. I echo the others, hug this memory to yourself when the inevitable not so great moments come along, and in the meanwhile, here is what people really think about you! A well-earned award and a standing ovation!
And yes, some local publicity will be good not just for you and DD but also a chance to say thank you to your customers too.
Ace news about an ace person!
