My SIL who does not do postal survey always writes dates on the envelope of birthday cards to reminder herself to post0

I have always wondered why people reveal so much.I never write more than is absolutely necessary and usually only thanks or some such innocuous comment. Can I give a gentle reminer to all the panelists who post on this forum....and as there may be some new ones joining it seems appropriate to remind all that this forum is read by everyone...royal mail staff included, the other panelists are here to help resolve queries but please be careful about the amount of information you openly include in your "chat"...
All of the recent queries that new users have asked about would have been able to have been answered either with the information that is received with your first test items or on the training tab of the website...or failing that even a phone call to the panel...
Please help to try and keep this test panel as anonomus as possible and please dont write the details of posting on the back of your letters.....postmen and royal mail staff pick up on this information!0 -
i dont think they like me

I soon learnt this is what happens at my local one so now know not to worry about the times I put the items into the box. They only ever ask if it was posted before or after the last collection time anyway!
The same goes for which places you post the test items, they ask you which box you put them in and so far have never complained if I've used "the wrong kind of box" for example a roadside one instead of one outside a Post Office.
I always try to post in the time window and in post box or outside post officer as requested but agree they don't seem to worry when I post outside those times/places.
However they still ask you to note the time the item is posted and don't want it to be after the final collection time for that day. It's not just "before or after the last collection time".0 -
I've posted many things after the last collection time for that day and recorded it as such with no problems. Same with posting things a week later if I've missed getting to a post box at all on the day they requested. They just want to you record what you've done so they can adjust their delivery expectations/calculations accordingly.0

The helpline closes at 1pm every day you just need to add the post office postbox no to your postbox's in your selection then complete the details.0 -
