Did they not direct you towards the training? I remember when I started I worked my way through the training section which really answers all of these questions and more. Have a look and read through it all.

Maybe they're not recommending people to do this any more but it's worth doing anyway, I'm sure it was required when I started way back. It was paper-based then but it's all on-line now.

Login and then see training, top towards the right. Or can also be found down the left hand side column.

Has anyone found out what we should be doing when we receive the boxes that have foam in? What was the 'incentive' for taking part in this parcel survey?
    Thanks!

I received the box on the 31st of January and still have not had any questions appear on my list. As far as I know, only the senders of the boxes will get incentives,
    Like good food and drink?

Continuing the best MSE tradition, has anyone found a good use for the bit of foam yet?

Me too! What happens when we are away? Do we just let them know?

Holidays are reported to them via the website - in Enter Holiday information part of the MANAGE MY ACCOUNT area.

You may also find they email a reminder about doing this at the beginning of each month. For example early in March they may remind you about letting them know about holidays in April or beyond.

They need good notice so that they not only don't send you things to post when you are away but also don't get others to send things to you. It is best to give as much notice as you can - as soon as you book a holiday away even if it's months ahead.

I'm using it as an oversized mug coaster on my desk at the moment!

Can someone please explain a little what I need to do please as want to make sure I get it right? There was also a pack of 12 1st class stamps, and 4 1st class large letter stamps... no mention of what I have to use them for though, are they just a reward?

Can I give a gentle reminer to all the panelists who post on this forum....and as there may be some new ones joining it seems appropriate to remind all that this forum is read by everyone...royal mail staff included, the other panelists are here to help resolve queries but please be careful about the amount of information you openly include in your "chat"...

All of the recent queries that new users have asked about would have been able to have been answered either with the information that is received with your first test items or on the training tab of the website...or failing that even a phone call to the panel...

Please help to try and keep this test panel as anonomus as possible and please dont write the details of posting on the back of your letters.....postmen and royal mail staff pick up on this information!
