Yes, I have the same problem.
  • I just sent them an email saying I resigned my place - it was getting too much as I work, and they wanted two postings a day most days, including saturdays. I just can't post between 10am and 1pm as I work 8-4, could only just manage the 'before final collection' ones.
Let's hope this means one of you who has less commitments can take over my place!
At least I've saved up enough stamps for Xmas over the last 6 months.
First time mummy to be and saving the pennies!
  • I still can't get on it :(
  • Just tried to register but was refused because they have had too many peeps applying

Been doing this for a year now and love it! Even better, just finished a mis-delivery :D

I have amassed a large collection of stamps :) and having just started ebaying I thought it would be good to use up my stamps for posting parcels. So the idea is, I put on just under the amount needed in 1st class stamps then ask for the remainder, get my certifcate of posting - job done - easy, yes?
Anyone would think I'd asked them to gift wrap in silk and hand deliver the parcels themselves! Umming and ahhing, sighing and harumphing, "we're really busy, it's the start of the month, why can't you do it next week?" It took him longer to moan about it than actually do it. I thought I'd just got someone having a bad day, but same story this morning "why do you have to do it this way, such a waste of time"

Does anyone do this and have any tips to make it easier? Or has anyone cashed in their stamps sucessfully?

I wish Kantar would do mystery shopping at the post office - I'd definitely be up for that one!

sorry, I know, slightly off topic :o, but I'm still fuming and had to vent!

I tried to cash in my stamps a few months ago, and got blank stares from the Post Office. I'm not sure they know what it means to "cash in a stamp".

Pity, because I've got a ridiculous collection too :D

    Don't worry minimoneyme.

I actually do mystery shopping for the PO and have been for over 6 years and they are mostly rubbish. They get slated time and time again and nothing improves. I have a run coming up later this month and I bet nothing will be different.

I have had about 2 letters to post each week for months -used to have 10 or 11 a week. Doing a misdelivery survery this week and next. Just had 1 letter to post next week then in came another with a book of stamps as an extra. I think I have the world record collection of books of first class stamps. My Christmas cards and my mums will be going first class for the next few years :rotfl:Any suggestions on what to do with the stamps?
