thats sad, i got an email saying thank you, you are finished with the surveys...
i will try to rejoin the survey anyway
  • Sorry, but what bit of not disclosing to anyone that you are part of this survey is it that you don't understand? If one of your eBay customers or their family are working for Royal Mail and you send them one of these envelopes round a purchase they would realise you are part of the survey:(

I do black the address out with a black marker, therefore they won't see the address, even though I'm quite sure they wouldn't bother turning the envelope inside out to discover the address, or even know what the address meant when they saw it. :-/

  • I checked my next week's posting schedule online and found it was completely blank, first time in over 2 years. Then I noted they were asking me to return SMARTs the day after I received them, not waiting until usual Friday SMARTs update.
So I phoned Joanne and asked if this meant I was being taken off the survey. "Oh no, let me just check your file. No, everything's perfect. Sometimes we just give people a week off." Hmmmm....
Two days later a letter from them saying I was being placed on Reserve. Thanks and here's 12 x 1st Class stamps!
I do wonder why? I live in a small town, never informed anyone about it, and most important I have been extremely diligent with all posting, received mail, and misdelivery surveys that I have been involved with. I've never, ever missed a scheduled posting and never even taken a holiday in the time I've been with them (I'm disabled and can't get away these days.)
Has anyone ever been used again after being placed on "Reserve".

That's a shame for you. Don't know about reinstatement from the reserve list but a number of people on here were "sacked" but still received the misdelivery surveys. Perhaps you will be lucky and receive those - a really easy £6 in love to shop vouchers for very little work.

I originally joined the panel around 2007. I was only on it for a short time and followed the rules perfectly before getting the dreaded email saying that there were too many panellists in my area so they no longer needed me. I had given up hope when I got an email about a month ago asking whether I was still interested.

So don't give up hope, you may become an active member again in the future. Good luck!

I have been doing this suvey for years but today for the first time got a R number that the computer didn't recognise. Anyone else ever had that? It keeps going to retry which isn't helping any.

Check the postcode on the R number sticker, does it match your postcode?

I once had one sent where it was addressed to me but the postcode/R number sticker was for somebody else.

I'd phone Joanne and ask her to check for me she's always helpful:)

Thanks for reply, redagila. Regarding the misdelivery surveys, I always applied online when I saw one advertised - I think it is on the first page after signing in, a short note saying when the survey was to be held etc. and did I want to take part.

Will I still be able to sign in and check for the likes of that after my current activity is over?
