I haven't been asked to send anything back as yet though I am still receiving test posts, 2 yesterday. Funny thing about recent tests received, over the past couple of weeks I've now had 3 bearing two postmarks on the front of the envelope. I can't remember I ever had one before this.

Also julie2205, like you I'll miss the commemorative stamps. I used to pass them on to a nephew who is a keen collector.

Today's post has just arrived. There were 2 test items which I'll register online and return to them as normal, BUT, there is also one of the regular big brown envelopes from them complete with a posting schedule and test items for week commencing Monday 6 Sep!:rotfl:

So much for "thanks for your help and here's 12 x 1st Class stamps!" as a farewell gift.

You know, I did not want to say this before but I have sometimes wondered just how well organized the company is, as quite a few times it has seemed the left hand doesn't know what the right is doing. I've had test envelopes missed out from my posting packs in the past and when I've contacted them I've been told, "Oh, just forget about it. We'll remove it from your schedule." They were never removed and showed up on my online schedule as still awaiting posting. On two occasions my "monthly incentive" was missing even though the "With Compliments" slips were inside!:mad:

I don't mind posting the above mentioned test items but the week they are due to be posted is actually when my next monthly stamps are due. OK, they've sent me an extra book of 1st Class as a farewell gift but what about my 4 x Large 1st Class?

I'm not sure what to do:
a) Report it to them and probably be told to return everything to them.
b) Say nowt and just log in and send the test items when due. That will keep me active and off "Reserve" for another couple of weeks.:T

I've also received another load to post starting 6 September, yay! Funny thing is now they've asked me to return all my smarts I have none to put in with the letters and all three require me to add a smart! Hopefully I'll have some more test items containing smarts in the meantime. My smart stock list was also completely empty after they asked to return them all, including the one they had sent me that day. Now it is saying that I have one smart in stock? I'm wondering if there is another lone smart on its way to me, whatever it is it doesn't seem very well organised at all!

That's what I found - that as soon as they put the SMART in the post to you they add it to your online record. At least it shows they worked out you would need it!

IIRC the stamps are sent out in advance - that is I received stamps right at the beginning as "training" got started. So if the 12 + 4 are paid in advance for 4-5 weeks, getting 12 for one week isn't so bad. (Just my way of looking at it.)

I've just checked online and the schedule for the pack I received on Saturday has now appeared online. Like you I will be needing SMARTs for tests but since they wrote saying I was being put on reserve, every time I have since received A SMART I am asked to return it the next day!
(I got one Saturday but no request to return it yet becasue they'll be on holiday today. I should prep one of my test items for next week and bung the single spare SMART in before they nab it back!:rotfl:)

One of the newspapers / magazines I was sent was the Jewish Cronicle. The first time with an R number and a smart so easy to process. The second and third time I received these no letter inside with an R number or smart. I always thought that the companies didn't send you mail except for the test. Very weird that I got 2 copies of the JC. Anyone else had this?

According to my record, the last issue of stamps was with the posting schedule for w/c 17 August. That makes the next ones due with postings for w/c 13 September and not w/c 6 September. It might even be a week later because of this BH weekend.

Well, that's what I said. Posting pack just received was for week commencing 6 Sep. Stamps should be due some time during that posting week, inside the posting pack for 13 Sep., no?

When I've received periodicals as part of the test mail system, I have received copies over a number of weeks (like a mini subscription), not just a single instance. Having put a Smart and a letter inside the first one, I expect they think you will easily recognise the next ones coming through your letterbox. So you record those online using the "no R number" option. (Or do you mean you received 3 copies of the same issue?)
