Hi,
I'm currently having a problem with a Sagem Freeview box I purchased from Argos 6 months ago as it keeps going dead.
Do I need to contact Sagem or will this be exchanged in store?
Thanks in advance.0 -
take it into store with proof of purchase, it will be normally be checked for a repair service, if not it can be replaced normally0

our store normally does v well with mystery shopper and SOS so i see it as a nice waste of time:)
Same here. Our store is always near the top of the table in everything so it's kinda a waste of time and money for us. They should spend time sending teams in to sort out the problem stores not inflict more paperwork on everyone else.
By the way, i take it "efficient" was added so we couldn't use "fast" and "friendly" as reasons to justify having more than three staff members at a time! Gotta love 'em - here's more work to do and by the way we're cutting hours again!!!
BTW Any one taking bet's on the VGS team making the same mistake for the third cat running? or has someone finally put a A1 poster on their wall with the FROM in size 1,000 font??

Question for Argos peeps in the know...
When I return an item, they take my name and address. What do they do with it? Nothing? Marketing? Trend to find fussy customer?!
Ta!0 -
they take your postcode and house number. If there is a case for fraudalent returns then they can be looked up to see if they came from the same address.0
-
TBH, If its a dodgey refund they arn't actually going to give there real postcode
.
AFAIK there is no way at store level to review returns by postcode other than manually going through the reciepts.
Its a step that can be skipped but we are checked up on it!0 -
although WHY anyone would want to buy one is beyond me :rotfl:
that said, if you undercut the price those who dont qualify for them have to pay to BUY them (how they can say that a weekender, who works the same number of hours as a weekday member of staff is not eligible for one is madness) then you may just be onto a good thing :think:know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -

I want a new styley fleece but I am refusing to pay for it! As a TL I wear my own clothes to work and am forever replacing trousers that have skagged on a ladder or a top thats ripped because of my name badge so no way am I paying for a fleece. I agree with previous post - longer contract for a full weekend than a lot of the weekday staff. I hate Argos policy, uniform specifically. And FFE!! :mad:0
