The website also told me last week we would be having some in for collection last Wednesday - nothing on the system and none came in - hence why Im thinking its a glitch. It would be very very very unusual for any clearance stock to still be coming into stores halfway through the life of a catalogue - its generally stores that have them will sell them off.
Yes but are you looking correctly? IT may have a green tick saying "Can be ordered in to collect Day Date --- Day Date" but unless you place the reservation the item will not be ordered in to the store.
I guess it is possible for the stock to come through if there is still some at the warehouse.0 -
Tried to reserve it anyway and got an email back telling me that unfortunately they are no longer in stock0

I have a hypothetical
question if someone was to return an item to Argos without a receipt would argos give a credit note, or would they need to see proof of purchase for the item to ensure that it had been bought from them. 0 -

Depends on how it was returned. If it had the box with the catalogue number on, then it would usually be gift vouchers. Other products that are only sold by Argos (e.g. Cookworks, Challenge) don't necessarily need the number, but a number and price must be found for a refund.0 -

Tell them to take off the "Wait Time Estimate" from receipts.
Noticed they had sneakily changed the wording to say a approximate collection time in minutes rather than an exact time, still didn't speed up the whole process mind
