There is a swapshop? What can you swap on it?
Pigpen a little plea....doing the declutter and selling sections has worked a treat for me please carry on doing like this it really really helps!
This goes for me too, altho I've only done one of the decluttering missions, I definately plan on doing more and the one I did inspired me to keep all the floors clear of anything that's not furniture for ever more
Just got back from friends - we decluttered an orange sponge cake and a huuuuge batch of scones, cream and jam. We drank gallons of tea, and the world is now put to rights :happyhear
    Whimpers longingly

I've finally caught up with you all! I've also watched a film and spent ages on window shopping on ebay, and have had a nap. Woke up really hungry so had the leftovers from my dinner last night, better get on with cooking dinner for tonight soon!

Plans for the evening: wash up, get more steps, do everything on lists with wipe or dust in it, tidy sofa and hopefully hoover it and armchair if hoover is working again now (it died again when hoovering earlier)

I’m a clever clogs! I mentioned on Twitter that my emails were broken (can receive but not send) since we got a new broadband provider and a JW in USA replied and sent me a link to a website that talks you through step by step what to do. The menus on the BT/Yahoo website had changed but I managed to work it out and can now send emails. Hurrah for Twitter and helpful people around the world

FFP, sorry to hear about the leak in your roof and the hosepipe through the letter box

Poohbear, hope you are feeling better today

    Welcome Jade

Nice to see you back Tag

Sexy, well done on the job, great news!

msgnomey hope your interview goes well

Frodders well done on the praise from your head re the reports

    Big hugs methekidsandthecat

Great news on the car radiator Triker, sounds like an excellent garage. We have a garage like that and we send both our cars there, my FIL sends all his cars there and we tell all our friends about them as they are so good and really fair

Embb, I got a pedometer that Greenbee recommended from Argos and it’s really good

Soappie I know what you mean about the heat and humidity, we both had a dreadful night. DH got up for an hour in the night he was so hot and couldn’t sleep. We both woke up exhausted today. It has been getting progressively cooler and breezier throughout the day - hurrah! Also there is a great big cloud so maybe it will rain :j

Jo and Jinky, well done with your kids and making them clean up – DH never had that lesson, so the training began at the age of 23. He is making progress, very slowly, but I hope we will get there one day. So my plea to all parents is make your kids throw away their rubbish, and tidy up after themselves! Thanks!

Kazwookie, have a great time at the wedding

Hugs kdean, hope the money gets sorted out

Well done Valli on being shortlisted, when is it?

Carlsbergall, wow, you must be really angry, I would be too, especially if you are in danger of falling over her things

Well done Fedup with your positive attitude and I’m glad to hear about your interview

Carol, hope you get your results soon

Vanilla, glad that your OH is getting help from the home treatment team and sorry to hear about your brothers crash

Happy Birthday Jo - I can't believe you didn't tell us!

I would join your HHC hex, but my first freecycler should be arriving at 5.30 (I've then got one at 6, one at 6.15 and one at 7... the 6.30 one dropped a note in saying he couldn't make it, but appears to live a couple of doors down, or at least, that's where he's asked me to drop the stuff off...) and I'd hate to miss them because I was busy hoovering or something... :p

Clean(ish) dust sheets (i.e. old bedcovers, curtains linings etc) are on the line drying, so should be ready to put away in the garage tonight!

I'm having a frustrating time trying to find a cutlery insert for either a 300mm or 400mm kitchen drawer... does anyone have any suggestions? B&Q's website claims to have them, but the pictures don't match, so I'm reluctant to order them (plus I quite fancy nice wooden ones!)

Off to research furniture... I need to put something where the dresser used to be :D

Managed to get a couple of hours sleep before my night shift. My DD is nearly hysterical with laughter as Ive apparently slept through a thunderstorm and heavy rain. What woke me up though was I dreamt I was asleep in mums bed at the home. DD was banging on the door and I remember thinking in the dream I have to get up. Weird! Doing a few dot to dot jobs. Not very hungry so Im going to have a few strawbs with a yoghurt.

Toots Mum enjoyed her walk and watching a helicopter land at the hospital. Her speech is quite poor now. I finish work 8 weeks today and one of those weeks is a holiday. 21 shifts left. Im sure you will enjoy the reiki.
vanilla Im glad you are getting some support with OH. Hopefully the change in meds will help. Im glad your brother is ok he will have got a shock.
    Lady L Big hugs.
    Jo Happy Birthday! :bdaycake:
serena have a lot of birthdays in July too. A cousin, mum, and 5 friends and mine.
