vanilla I hope your brother is okay. It must have been a horrible shock for him. I hope he hasn't had his confidence knocked too much. DD is beginning to get her confidence back and is driving every day again.

I am still not flying, or eating either. I am trying another 24 hours without food to see if it helps, lots of fluids, thanks DK.

We have new carpets being fitted on Tuesday so DSs have a busy weekend ahead of them. I will be the foreman, keep them working. They have boxes of scalextric, lego, train tracks etc. At 20, 22 and 19 it is time for them to go.

DS2 has suggested he paints his bedroom but after seeing what carlsberggasls DD got up to I am very wary!

I'm back from the hospital....gosh it's warm out there.....not good news, the lung nodules have grown, but I was kinda expecting it......but as I walked out into the carpark the Red Arrows flew over (Goodwood Festival of Speed) I love them they make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up........so I watched from my car.

Will have a sit down & then think about dinner.......

toots I don't put you to shame at all.......I'm sure you are putting up with far more than me.....I do suffer if I do too much, but I'm not going to let this bl**dy disease think it's beaten me yet! xx

Just got back from friends - we decluttered an orange sponge cake and a huuuuge batch of scones, cream and jam. We drank gallons of tea, and the world is now put to rights :happyhear

oops bit late - but i had to put shorts and tshirt on and get out of my stuffy work clothes. XOH dropped in with my birthday card..... not pleasant.


Anyway off to the kitchen.....

well we had drizzle this morning but now the sun has come out again and it is hot! hot! hot!


Well rang up the kitchen fitter I had been recommend.(he came round to see the kitchen a couple of days ago) apparently he is good at tiling. He is sending me a quote but said there is a wait list for him for a few of months which I have interpreted as meaning "h3ll I am not doing your kitchen as I hate having to fix someone else's mess"

i am planning on doing it myself. XH (ex husband in case your are wondering) has said he will help me put up some of the cupboard up when he is down tomorrow.( Makes me laugh as he would never have helped when he was here )
