Well that's 14 brass hinges, two doorknobs, a bolt, a doorstop, a DW hose and 3kg tile grout out of the garage! Next collection is my old kitchen sink, and then all the bits of wood, which will make a huge difference. I think I'll get in touch with the person who wanted the lot and tell her that she can have what's left and the unlisted stuff if she picks up tomorrow morning...

... and then I'll move into the garage as it's so much cleaner and tidier than the house :rotfl::rotfl:

I'm not going to attempt much more today (I've had a bit of a go at my makeup), I'm just going to try to have a relaxing evening and an early night.

Before I get rid of the rest of the cr*p... does anyone want any draught excluder? I have two lots of part-used v-profile stuff (one white, one brown) and a bit of self-adhesive foam stuff. The v-profile is better for doors, then foam for windows. Let me know and I can post it if anyone would like it!

You're doing that disappointed parent thing... I know what you're doing, you're trying to make us feel guilty so that we try harder ;). We might just go and sulk like teenagers instead :p

It has been seriously hot though (well down south at least). I'm trying really hard Mum, I am and I do hope to achieve at least one more star before the weekend is out.

Woah woah woah woah!! Dont panic!! You havent missed anything!! Im happy to accept all the birthday wishes, but it isnt actually until tomorrow - so Im going to make you wish me it all again then!! :D

The girls only put the banners up in work and stuff today cos obviously Im not there tomorrow!

Anyway, got a bit distracted on my HHC, but I have done all the dishes. Put the washing machine on. Then hung out the washing, tidied the garden and the patio, pulled out the weeds and the Ivy that keeps coming through from next door and choking my plants.

I also picked out all the cat poop! only after i stood in it

I decluttered all the juices and wine and water etc for tomorrow to the beautifully clean fridge in my garage! :D

I also decluttered 4 boxes of book to a freecycler (who turned out to be a gardener!) and gave me his number.

AND......... I decluttered a whole bag of toiletries to one girl from freecycle. 5 mins before she came I had another run round and chucked all the things Id been hum-ing and ha-ing (is that even really a word??? Clearly not) about so she took the lot away before i changed my mind. :D

Off to see what i can do now - I know there is more to be done in the kitchen.

    :) xx

Congratulations on decluttering the toiletries Jo ... hope it hasn't been too traumatic :p Just think how much easier it'll be to clean now you have less stuff to move!

ETA - Pigpen at the rate you declutter you should be living in an empty house. Are you sure you aren't in the bit of the black hole that all the missing stuff goes to? If you can find a biro in your house, then that's probably the explanation... there are none in mine
