pollybear I don't want him gone, just to move around a bit and do something. It is his room we are doing up as he is not leaving home for a while yet and it is still decorated in a babyish fashion.

I didn't mean you wanted him gone, just remembering how I used to look forward to some peace and quiet and being able to get on with things.

I've sat in the sun for a bit reading the paper, dried the washing, folded it and put it in the airing cupboard. The stuff that was in the airing cupboard is now on my bed waiting to be put away!

No sign of the freecycler who didn't turn up this morning... no note... no email... nothing. Looks like I'll have to take the disintegrating pasting table to the tip on Monday after all...

... I now have to decide whether to hoover upstairs, or deadhead the roses  I think I'd better do the hoovering as I've finally cleared the floors and I've been putting it off for ages :o

Hurray, we have action in this house. 2 DSs moving furniture and putting things in the loft. They can't let go of their lego or scalextric!!

I have just put about 40 magazines in the recycling box and have posted a couple of things on freecycle. Can someone with a little girl please tell me if 'Snatch' the doggy is still fashionable for bedding. I have a lovely single pink duvet and pilow case set. I am not sure where to offer them.

I understand now, not thinking right at the moment as still on dry toast and water. I know my mum had us all close together and we all left within a year. Mine might do that too. One married, two off to uni and just the one at home in a couple of months.
