stars next week?
I wondered how everybody would feel about having a change to stars next week.
Those of us with kids know that star charts are great but they loose their effect if they stay the same. Toots has noticed we are not achieving as much as we did early on.
I wondered if next week we could do different things to get our stars. Still have the regular cleaning list for those who want to do that (but not for the stars) but maybe concentrate on decluttering/gardening/paperwork/sewing all those things we never find time to do. Lots of us have kids breaking up for summer soon and I'm sure I'm not the only one who has stuff they want/need to get done before we have the little darlings home. It would also mean that those who cannot do the whole cleaning list for whatever reason have a chance to get a week of stars.
I don't want to create work for anyone but just thought it might be an idea - feel free to ignore me.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
hung out second lot of laundry and put 2 more loads in
Folded all the dry stuff.
I need to make a start on the party stuff for tomorrow.. but the kitchen is a tip.. I may get the 2 oldest girls to assist in tidying that... and the boys are about to be booted into orbit if they don't shift their stinky washing.
Oh.. cheeky little bumcloth my DD3 is.. she said one clean house (daddys) and one dirty house (mine!!).. She was hastily corrected that mess does not constitute dirt and if she picked up her rubbish behind her it wouldn't be half so bad... then I told her she could go tidy her hovelesque room if it bothered her that much.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Beat down the door, vacuum the landing.. turn on the radio.. preferably something REALLY chronic like Radio snore, put on a local radio station/cheesy CD and sing loudly outside the bedroom while vacuuming etc..
... NAG.. LOUDLY...
DS1 showed him that I was writing about him on here and he is out of bed!!! Thank you all for your ideas/support. I can't declutter with someone lying in their smelly pit.
pollybear I don't want him gone, just to move around a bit and do something. It is his room we are doing up as he is not leaving home for a while yet and it is still decorated in a babyish fashion.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527
