    note to self p 53

(where has the view first unread gone?)

Had a lovely (and tearful) night out last night. My friend (and former colleague then supervisor but still a friend:D) is going in for her op on my interview day - full hyster...
Tears because she never got her baby. Now it's going to be final so she's very down. Fortunately of the six of us two others were also not mums.

Mum has been and looked at the job docs so now feeling she can support me in this and has told me she could see that I have been depressed. So probably the right decision IYSWIM. I'll add more if I get it - suffice to say work is not going particualrly well at present. I just need some good answers for the 'why are you considering leaving your present position' questions...
Feel free to chip in girlies!

    Happy Birthday JO:bdaycake:

I've got to go as I've got a burn on stomach that has become infected. I've spoken to the pharmacist and they said I should go to the doctors today, particularly with it being a Friday, as there'd only be the emergency doctors over the weekend.

Soappie I was interested in your Soappie special with the garlic bacon and tomatoes.

Dead easy really - a sort of fridge bottom pasta. I use fusilli. Just stick a bit of olive oil in a saucepan lob in some chopped onion, garlic, bacon rashers cut up into pieces, mushrooms, a bit of red or green pepper if you have them. Few twists of black pepper. Let them all fry gently for a bit then add a tin of chopped tomatoes and any herbs you have to hand. I threw in some chopped fresh basil that's growing on the windowledge. Then let it bubble away for a bit. Throw some hot, cooked pasta in with it, mix it all up and serve. Voila, another Soappie Special has been created.

Carlsberggal - glad the room's sorted

Hugs Holly hoep your kids settle down soon

Have been out to the villagy bit of town and stocked up on provisions. The weather went wet a bit ago so it's cooler which is nice.

There is a child crying for the 5th time this morning. I wish to resign from the position of mummy, the staff are incompetent whingers who have no respect at all for the management.

Tried to do a trial run on desert for tomorrow but small boy has eaten all of the strawberries I bought yesterday. Trot up the garden to get some from the fruit cage. Discover that small boy has left the fruit cage door open and the chickens have eaten all the starwberries, most of the raspberries and all but 10 of the blueberries. Cry and give up.

Meant to say WELL DONE to Carol...

right off to put ironing away and do stuff. I have a 'bit of a thick head' actually (so much so that I went to town on the bus...)

    Go on then Neveah!

Just eating lunch - DH is asleep on the bed - WM has just finished so I'll put that on the line in a minute. I've already brought in the washing that was on the line and ironed it! Next job I think is to have a re-sort of my wardrobe and possibly get rid of some stuff and move some stuff around. Downstairs is a pigsty though but now I've done all this ironing I want to put it all away before it's creased again!

My hhc turned into an hour as I got a bit side-tracked outside!

    I managed to:

Put a load of washing out
    water the plants
    dig up some spuds
scrub the garden table and chairs

and that's all considering it was an hour.
Going to make some lunch and then do an inside hhc after that.
