Pigpen - what age/sex coats are you looking for ?

I need boys 13-14/14-15 but it has to be ALL black.. no writing or pattern or anything of a different colour.. yes it is a huge PITA.. and boys 11-12 (I think.. until he has a huge growh spurt in September!)

Girls 6-7 .. the 2 littlies are in the same size and I only have 1 in this size at the moment.. and I have to have at least 1 spare for these as they get filthy!!

    I think I have 9-10 for DD3 somewhere.. a new one

And the older 2 girls need new school polo shirts at £15 a pop!! .. great isn't it?!.. actually.. I'll get some for DD1 and DD2 can wear the ones from DD1.. I think they are still presentable... she has sprouted hugely in girly places this last year!!

    And.. I won't even mention shoes!!! :eek::eek::eek::eek:

I am back all newly coiffoured (or a word that sounds like that but probably isn't spelt like that!) and have put the cheques in the bank. And yes, it did take 3 and a half hours. I also popped into Claires, and got some nail stuff and something to turn my hair pink. I feel like having a change. It's only temporary so if we go to a party or something i might bung it in.

Pigpen hope your tonsils are better soon

Carlsbergall really pleased to see the difference in the small bedroom, hurrah!

    Hugs Valli

Hugs for all mum’s who are having problems with their kids today

I am absolutely worn out, going to have a lie down. It's manic in town, hence why it took me so long to do everything! The stupid one way system is a nightmare, why they have a bus lane I will never know, no buses go in it, they go in the lane they need to be in for where they are heading for IYSWIM. I did help some girls tho who were lost, they were in a funny place at the edge of the road (ie not a place people normally walk) and looked really lost and bewildered, so I called to them through the window (as I was stuck in a traffic jam) and gave them directions. The stupid man behind me hooted as the car in front edged forward a smidgeon before I'd completely finished telling them where the road they wanted was. Eejit.

Anyway, the point of this post was to tell you nice things, and it's turned into a moan again. Sorry! :o

Ds2 brought a bucket of water in from the garden and tipped it all over himself and the carpet so i told him off and he started screaming ( he hates being told off ) and being rude. So he's had another telling off too.

Hope they have calmed down. DS3 is like that if you tell him off, so rude, but I think it is not knowing how to deal with the feelings of remorse.

Hex - sorry about the fruit, could have been worse the wee boy could have eaten all the chocolate and drank all the wine. Maybe a lock on the fruit cage would be an idea, or a high up catch.

Wind picking up here and clouded over.

Second wash on the line. Only DS3 here at the present. Poor DH has been like a taxi today. He is currently sorting out one of our inbetween bikes to moved DS3 up a bike so hopefully that will be one to sell if he is happy to part with it.

Off to put the third wash on and make the cake for tonight.

Valli - they may not ask you why you're leaving your current role, but if they do, focus on the things that this job would offer you that the current one won't - looking for a new challenge/making better use of existing skills/ developing in specific areas.

soappie - I recognise that pasta dish... it's a popular one here too :D

toots - hope you manage to get out for a bit of fresh air today.

L-L - if you want us to do another visualisation for you, let us know when would be a good time, and if you want us to focus on a specific area, we can do.

I walked to the shop - not the shortest way, but didn't go the long way there as I'd forgotten to take any water . I'm glad I went the way I did though, as there were goats with babies in a field I wouldn't have seen otherwise, and then a huge dog fox walked straight across the road in front of me, about 20 feet away! I bought an ice lolly as well as the paper :o, but it did mean that I felt up to walking a much longer way round, so I'm up to 11500 steps already today, and hopefully with a bit of hoovering and floor-washing later today I'll get over my average again.

I've had a very nice cheese & tomato sandwich for lunch (using up the bread I bought for when my dad was here, as it's not something I normally eat), so I think I might go and sit in the sun and read the paper for a bit before recommencing with the flying.

Hi - just updating what I have done so far today and yesterday - NOTHING - how naughty - but, OH is going fishing overnight and DD and DS are going to stay at Nana's so from 3p.m. today Mama Mia CD is going on full blast and I'm gonna catch up on Thurs and Fri lists and clear the ironing that hasn't been done for 2 weeks so that come Monday I'm on the ball with the lists

Hugs to all who need them

My DD is 9 and a bit going on 16 with the attitude she has [she is banned from watching Disney Channel for ever and that did make a big improvement] but there are times when my faith is tested to beyond all human tolerances!!!
