Sadly a friend also passed away, in the early hours of Friday, another friend told me as we walked to the reception, we must have looked a right pair walking down a high street and into the resturant crying! the bride also knew of her, and promptly got a bottle of champers out, and toast her, all of us now in tears, we were then told to pull ourselves together and the whole this was dedicated to her, what a way to go...............

    Big hugs kazw xxx

Hi everyone, we have arrived safe & sound, the worst part was the drive from Bilbao in a Ford Fiesta full of stuff that I didn't pack for the removal people, no shade from the sun & no air con, but the scenery was spectacular. Arrived here 2115, showered & then out to the local bars to announce my arrival , well only managed 2 bars as we had been up since 0500. Today we've been shopping & I have put 'some' of my stuff away!!! Need to arrange next week for my stuff to be delivered, ideally whilst OH is at work so that I can try & get some of it put away before he comes home & says, 'Why have you brought that'. (Not sure where I am going to hide the shoes & boots, I will be brave & count the number of pairs when I unpack them). :rotfl:
Sorry haven't caught up with everyone, I just came on to check that Toots was OK & behaving herself .
Hugs to those in need TTFN

Glad you've arrived safely and are starting to settle. Enjoy yourself hun xx

Got home at 9.30am this morning, then went off to Silverstone and had a wonderful sunburnt day there.

Washing is now done and out onthe line
Chatted to neighbour over the fence.

    Hugs all round.

Sounds like you've had a busy couple of days but sorry to hear about your friend. Hugs to you.

So flying wise I have decluttered their pen.

Clean their drinker and eating bowls.

    Tidied up their house.

Neatly scattered straw everywhere for them.

Made sure they can reach their house with a little ladder as they're only ickle.

Oh.. cheeky little bumcloth my DD3 is.. she said one clean house (daddys) and one dirty house (mine!!).. She was hastily corrected that mess does not constitute dirt and if she picked up her rubbish behind her it wouldn't be half so bad... then I told her she could go tidy her hovelesque room if it bothered her that much.
    Good answer! :T

Just had a text from Toots. Seems her town is in the middle of a big power cut so she has no t'internet access at the mo.
Oooh, my grandfather will be there and he will see the red arrows.

Sorry to hear about Toots power cut, we have had two recently, wonder why we are getting so many at the mo?

Pooh, I sometimes have to get a 25 year old out of bed when he won’t get up, I check if he’s ill first and if not do this: bang a saucepan with a wooden spoon, holding it near his head, or throw a glass of water at him. The water was quite effective actually. These are only used on emergencies, normally I just let him get on with it.

Glad you have arrived safely SGT

Valli, at least DS will get lots of exercise now – he will be swimming a lot if that’s his gf’s hobby. You are right about the phone too

Mudders, hope elderly dog will be ok

Kaz, really sorry to hear about your friend, that’s sad news. How lovely of the bride to do that

I feel very girly, have got a great new hair cut, and have done my nails and put on some nail stickers that I got from Claire's when in town earlier. I feel very feminine!

It's going to be a record for steps today too, have got over 6, 000, should be able to get to 7, 000 at least before bed.

Not done any flying today, must must must wash up tonight.
