I remember as a teenager, standing on the cliffs in North Norfolk and waving to the harrier jets as they flew level with the cliff tops and they waved back.
I was convinced the pilot would be back for me, as a teenager I was at that impressionable age!!:o
Thank you all for your thoughts.

Chinooks have a special place in my heart. An old boy I knew passed away a few years ago. I went to his funeral. They had only managed to arrange for a chinook to fly over the crem just after the service. Never been on that flight path before! Every time I see one now I think of that old boy.
Helen - hope the wedding is everything you want it to be.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Soappie, you would have loved all the chickys we saw today. The lady I bought them off just started with a few of her own chicks and then just grew her flock, she had some amazing breeds. Beautiful colours and some unusual breeds that I've never seen 'live' before. She's also got some black silkies which were really young but I can see a few of them coming to live with us, they're gorgeous and such a lovely temperament.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08
