Now consider myself lucky that I did mangage to complete with them a few weeks ago but paperwork missing so filed a complaint with Legal Complaints Service
  • I found on the net and their conveyancing quote appear to be quite competitive. See Wolstenholmes.co.uk

***** Bit the bullet and instructed them to take over the purchase procedure *****

I will report back in due time on whether they were timely and customer friendly or not. As of today, things seems to be going on fine.

Wolstenholmes - Birmingham office has ceased trading

This firm is not worth the hassle and I am just praying that our new local solicitors can untangle their mess in the week left to completion. First of all Julie Thomas was acting on our behalf and was fired and today I was told by a simple email that their office would cease trading as of this friday 18/12/09 from our newly appointed solicitor. I can not believe i was so stupid in trying to save a few hundred pounds.

Thanks to Wolstenholmes, I may lose the sale of my house with days left to Christmas!!
  • The Reality
Imran Husseiyn joined wolstenholmes solicitors in March 2009. Nasir Ilyas has been the CE of the company since 2006. All the fraudulent activities had been carried out by Nasir Ilyas and his wife Asma Qayoum (who he has now divorced). When Nasir Ilyas realised that his fraudulent activities had been caught out he then sold the company to Imran Husseiyn who really is a genuine man. He also made bobby shabbir and bilal khwaja partnes in 2009 who had nothing to do with all this and have now had their pratice certificates suspended too.
Nasir Ilyas - You crook - Go to hell

    Beware of Nasir Ilyas
  • I read today that the Solicitors Regulation Authority have intervened in the practice and suspended all the Solicitors there.

Quite why anyone would want to use a firm they have never heard of whilst ignoring their local solicitors I shall never understand

    you pay peanuts ........
