    But one question remains, is the product actually any good ? Does it whiten your teeth or not ? I always wanted to know, but I can't afford to sign up to such a scam

    Who cares if it works or not as the product is clearly just the front end of a massive scam to con people out of their money. The company sells several 'products' (some of which are not even products: eg 'Google Kits') http://www.webcops.net/just_think_media_spam_scams_8001.html But clearly their main aim is to make as much money as they can in a short a period of time by ripping people off. If they had decent products then they might try and build a brand and a business which had satisfied customers and repeat orders rather than a smash and grab scam operation!

    Anyway, personally I wouldn't trust a healthcare product which is bought in bulk from China at $1 a pop - who knows what could be in it and it's not tested for safety by the FDA (or UK equivalent).

  • Yes I got caught out by this ridiculous scam as well and only realised this morning when I received another parcel from them congratulating me on my further purchase! I had seen an odd payment on my credit card which I didnt recognise and had been querying it with the bank - but now found out that two more have gone through - each for around £54 making a total of over £150 - for a free sample. I nearly exploded this morning, immediately contacted my bank to cancel the credit card. I explained the situation to them and they asked me to write in with all information and they would initiate a chargeback. I think the credit card companies are onto them now. I have also written to them at their Bedford address and threatened them with everything I could think of unless I got my money back.

    I think that is just the address of their "mail fulfillment" company, so you are unlikely to get a response from DazzleWhite /Just Think Media /Farend.

    However if enough people contact them ( BTB Mailflight ) and complain about their scammy client and how they are helping a scammer then maybe they will drop them?

    Thanks for that Comp, i have just written a lenghty but polite email to the CEO and will await his reply, if he doesent reply i will post my email on here and maybe others can respond to the same person.

    Does anyone know what i need to do now,
    I requested on the 13th of November, cancelled on the 13th (same day) i have sent the emails and online transcript to the ccc, but i had a Parcel force note saying they had tried to deliver a package this was dated 7th December, should i collect and return or ignore as it is impossible for me to return in time for the 14 cancellation ? if the advice is return the package what is the procedure now Dazzlesmile no longer exsists online they have taken the site down How will i get a returns number and address etc?

    if anybody has issues with the credit card companies there is an answer that ceases all activity immediatley, report it to them as stolen, from that moment any activity on the card is not your responsibility

    Thanks for that i thought of doing it, but, would they still process/transfer any recurring payments on to my new account that was "supposedly" agreed prior to the card being reported stolen?.
    If not then i think i will report my wallet with my cards in lost.
    Would be grateful of a reply.

  • Just come off the phone with DWs cust service. Told them that package i recd yesterday via DHL contained an empty box. Agreed to immediate refund of $87.?? As this was first thing recd from them in 2mths, I asked if they were able to refund anything else before I institute chargeback proceedures. She agreed to a further refund of $87.

    Just a further £90 to try and get back now thru chargeback.

    This is a copy of an email sent Tuesday to BTBmailflight who deliver the products for these scum,

    Dear Sir,
    I am writing this mailing to make you aware of one of your customers and the illegal and immoral way in which they are defrauding thousands of people out of an average $60 per month through misleading, deceptive and unauthorised transactions, the company you deal with are DazzleWhite /Just Think Media /Farend.

    These papers describe just what a bunch of despicable people you are dealing with.
    Finally, Mr Kavanagh, i and i am sure hundreds of UK citizens would be grateful if you could look at your conscience and maybe assist in putting these people out of business by refusing to deal with them, I can understand that in this climate "business is business" - but should it be at the expense of innocent victims.
    I would appreciate a reply to this mailing, either to myself at the email address above or even better, reply to the hundreds of people who are currently viewing the Moneysaving expert forums and are compiling information at a great rate as to who is connected with these people, i can assure you any other connected business will receive the same type of email.
    We are all decent hard working individuals who have been duped and if it were just the one payment we had lost then we would have probably taken it on the chin and learnt a valuable lesson, but these people are scamming unlawfully in our minds money every month.

    This is the reply, Which i think shows that a lot of people are doing something about it and if enough of us keep putting pressure on companies dealing with Dazzle & Co it will make it more difficult for them to operate.

    Thank you for your detailed email highlighting your obvious concerns regarding the trading of DazzleWhite /Just Think Media /Farend.

    BTB Mailflight have undertaken some fulfilment handling business for a US fulfilment client called AtLast Fulfilment, whereby we have fulfilled various products to the UK over the last year. Just Think Media are a customer of AtLast Fulfilment and as such we have indirectly fulfilled product for this client. Regarding the DazzleWhite product, I confirm that we have not fulfilled any of this product since 16th October. We do however, continue to handle the UK returns processing of product for AtLast Fulfilment.

    We have received a number of telephone complaints from customers who we have directed to the client customer services response centre in the US. Because of these complaints we have discussed the situation with our local Trading Standards Officers, who are yet to provide us with their further recommendations.

    I am shocked and surprised to read the information you have provided and can confirm that we have already taken steps to ensure we will no longer fulfil any product for Just Think Media.

    Thank you once again for bringing your concerns to my attention, I would like to assure you that BTB Mailflight are an ethical Company having been in business for over 40 years, and we would never wish to deal with any Company that does not have the same level of business ethics as ourselves.
