Virgin wines order cancelled?

    good on ya mike, fingers crossed they arrive this time, i'm hoping for today.

    No i dont think they delivered either, that way people phone up and then they can query the voucher and try and get you to pay more money.

    Still no wine showed up....... beginning to lose faith now.
  • Same here Shez, just checked on my order, said it was still being assembled! called them, and yes it still being assembled!what....two days later!

    and was quoted it takes 2-7 seven working days to deliver, yada yada yada, oh and the warehouse is busy because they have a special promotion on ! lol
    noticed by your location it`s olympic city, if it`s newham I live in the same borough, 10 mins from olympic village so surely they can justify deliveries!!!!!!!!

    never again use virgin as a wine consumer

    Well mike the lastest so far today - still no wine. Email Shaun Grint yesterday, no response till this afternoon. He apologises and says he contacted the courier and again have said they have delivered!!!!!!! I have been here all week, there is definately definately no way anyone has been here. In fact I got a delivery from another company ok just today.
    Now he's saying that he will reorder again but obviously wont come now until next week - funny how did i know that is what they were gonna say?? der
    also said as he was the customer service manager that he could do more at this stage.

    I have just sent back a stinking reply about how long theyve had my money now and that i think this is all becoming a farse and they are implementing this on purpose so i have to wait even longer, i dont think they had intentions of delivering this week at all, just used the nicey nicey approach to buy some time.

    I am most disgusted and will now be taking my complaint further. I also told him that if he was any sort of decent customer service manager he would refund my money and still deliver a case now as compensation for the all the hassle!! dont you think?

    No I definately wont be using them again and wont be recommending them.

    There is something definately wrong here that doesnt quite add up? if you know what i mean??? cant put my finger on it yet, but smells very fishy.

    Yes I am in Newham, funny that we both havent had our wine?? Have you put in a complaint yet?

    No, not yet , giving them till next tuesday, then going for the full slog, I know by association certain people higher up the food chain through work, so at the moment bit risky, call centre is yada yada, parrot phrasing , but two days assembling in the warehouse , good deal at the time, and maybe fingers burnt,but to BS all the way about delivery,re delivery, overworked, ADMIT IT VIRGIN ,If we got it wrong, you failed big time

    just checked my account, my promo voucher expires 03 january, 3085!!!!!

    might explain all the delays if they issue vouchers valid for that long!

    Well Done Mike at least your wine did actually turn up!!! I'm hoping its third time luck for me this week, they said they are going to deliver another case but as the other stuff has now all gone I would be getting different (better) wine and she was going to chuck in a bottle of champagne for all the hassle - so we will see whether it turns up.

    whats the wine like is it any good?

    I wonder if they didnt have enough of the wine to fill orders and thats why some of us didnt get any?
