Mines just been cancelled.0

Odd I got mine delivered yesterday, which was quicker than I expected. The money came off my bank account today for the £16 odd.0

Mine hasn’t been cancelled (yet)
I ordered it Monday morning my spend was £41.87 (including delivery) less £20 voucher = £21.87.
My order page tells me that the order has left the warehouse and that my account has been charged but the money hasn’t left my account yet.
Hope they don't cancel it.Your home is at risk if you do not keep up repayments on a mortgage or other loan secured on it.0 -
cancelled mine as well0

pamelab21 wrote:I receoved the same this morning. But surely if we all received confirmation that the order was going through etc are they within their rights to cancel it? Do they not have to honour it when it was their fault for allowing it in the first place??
'Fraid not. Contract not completed 'til cash changes hands!
However, although I'm pleased for those who have received their wine, I think there may be a case at law for a claim for something like being 'deprived of a bargain'!
They shouldn't be supplying some folks and not others if they have stock available.
I'd be interested to hear from any bar-room lawyer who's watching on this!0 -
My order is showing as left the warehouse, I have a card from Amtrak to say I missed them today & my bank account is showing a pending transaction for the same amount as the wine. I think I've been lucky this time.0

Just got a call from Virgin Wines saying the reason it was cancelled was the virgin radio code was only available to those people registered to the VIP thing, or something
So why email saying it was due to T&Cs of the contract?0 -
Was slightly peeved when i read here that some who ordered wine AFTER my order and had received theirs when mine had been cancelled. So in the heat of the moment fired off this:
"Dear Virgin Wine,
I am absolutely disgusted that you have cancelled this order, stating terms
and conditions. You have honoured this deal with several of my friends and
a whole host of others who saw the voucher via a wine site i frequent.
This was to be my first order from Virgin Wines, now it will also be my last.
I will also be forwarding my observations to friends and family and my
website, of the poor way customers are treated with Virgin.. I will also be
forwarding my concerns to Virgin Head Office.
A disgruntled potential customer!!"
I, today, got this back:
Thank you for your E-mail.
