    I got my wine but there was a bottle missing from the case!! So I emailed them and after three days (so much for GUARANTEEING to respond within 24 hours) I got the following reply:
    I am sorry to hear that you were a bottle missing from your case. The case you have received, however, should have been invalid as the voucher you have used on this order is not permitted. We did not cancel the case as it had already been despatched by the time the cancellation request came through so allowed this to be delivered to you. You are quite lucky that this case has made its way out to you as a handful of other customers have had their orders cancelled and will not be receiving their goods.
    As this is the case, I am not able to refund you for the missing bottle. Please note that products ordered from our Warehouse Clearance section are not covered by our customer promise.
    If you require any further information, please let me know and I will be more than happy to assist you.
    So basically "you were lucky you got anything, we make no promises to customers like you, so get stuffed."
    At least I know not to order from them again, and I feel not in the slightest bit guilty for using a £25 voucher when I had a valid £20 one instead. They can also stop spamming me now too.

    What????!!!!!! They cannot do that!!! You have paid for an order which they have accepted by taking the cash and delivering the items. I would be straight on the phone/email/letter demanding the rest of your order.

    I'd also be writing to head office, inclusive of the email you recieved, informing them of the muppet they have working for them.
  • If you paid by credit card you should be able to claim for non delivery of the goods you ordered. I must say it sounds like awful customer service, makes you wonder about the promise "if your wine gets stolen they will replace it".
    Hope you get this resolved, after all you did have a contract for 12 bottles of wine and did pay £5.99 to have it ALL delivered. Good Luck!

    LOL judging by the amount of people who have had their orders cancelled here alone they must be the biggest hands in the universe! :eek:

    took my money on monday ASAP
    Checked my order on monday night ,said despatched from warehouse, showing the same up till friday today,wine received no, any card received saying please contact us,no, will I get my delivery refunded by monday if they don`t deliver ?yes,
    will I Complain ?Yes!!
    Is it a bargain ...Yes!

    from what I`ve read here,it does sound like crap being delivered, but for £1.40 a bottle on average ,even the crap the off lience sellls cannot beat that price lol!

    Looks like i'm with you mikethehaggler - my wine still hasnt arrived and i ordered sunday night, have sent an email to them but no reply as yet!!!
    very disappointed.
