    Hijacking this thread now - have just applied and got the 7-10 day review period page. Hope that's a good sign, at least it's not an outright decline! Wish I'd just been approved though :(
  • So there are various bands of apr depending on your credit report. Is it possible to review what apr band your on and get onto a better one (if your credit worthyness improves over time) ?

    All card APR's are now what is known as risk-for-rate or vice-versa...... basically they will give you an APR at the time they offer the account... gone are the days where a 7.9% deal was guaranteed just cos they advertised it! Nowadays that could increase to 30% and even at the start, throughout time they will increase it as well.

    Lilian - you'll be fine.... have you got an ok credit file or have you got defaults?
