I got approved by Co-op after being referred to the underwriter. Mostly clean record apart from some late payments nearly 3 years back...

Yeah cant see it being a problem you being referred as there is nothing dodgy that they will find by checking your report.

I was glad I didnt get reffered as I have 2 defaults from 5 years ago but with your clean record theres no reason not to and you do have other lines of credit.

You will hear cosmic_girl - and I predict you will be accepted for the card.
Don't fret/worry about it - but take parki's good advice.

I got a referral and my card came with a £3000 limit and i have had no problems with the card or company.I have actually got 4 cards that are issued by sygma and no fraud markers,my husband has 3 cards and he has not had any problems with them either.I have had my card for about 8 mths and after 6 mths i asked for an increase and got it straight away, they give you 30% increase.

Got a letter from Flybe today - really apologetic about the duplicated credit search and they are going to remove it. I'm really chuffed. Really nice letter :). Still awaiting to hear decision tho, lol! x x

Good to hear. Have to say whenever I've been on the phone to them they've always been very polite and a pleasure to deal with. I'll almost feel bad about moving my balance over once my 6 months is up.

    Good evening all,

Hope everyone is well. I have just had an alert email from Equifax about a change to my credit file. Gone in to have a wee look and it would appear that Flybe/Sygma/Creation Financial Services have done another credit search on me today (a subsequent/follow up enquiry). Anybody have any ideas what this might be for? Just received an apology letter from them the other day because they duplicated first credit search. Am a wee bit confused?!?!?! x
