Cheeky Beggars!!!! Just looked at Equifax again and they have down two full searches on me this morning. Not a happy bunny. Looks like the first application obviously had already gone through despite being told otherwise  x

Now there are four "unclassified" searches showing on file but this time Creation Financial Service - why do I have a bad feeling about this. I don't understand what is happening here. I've phoned Flybe and they have told me to put details in writing in an email, which I have done. Does anyone think Equifax would be able to help? Think this has just become more trouble than it is worth :( x x

Not all searches show up when companies search your credit file. Check with Equifax if these searches will show up or not if someone else was to search your file.

Thanks for that. I'll give them a bell and see what they say. The other thing that is worrying me now is other posts I have read where folk are getting fraud markers put on their file and now it looks like I've made two applications when really I hadn't (or so I thought anyway). I get SCRO checks done regularly for work and am worried that this might have an impact now ....... Jeesoh!!! Paranoid or what x

Applied for flybe recently. was given 2k at 19.9%.
    Not bad in my opinion.
    Decision was instant.
On the basis of my experience, i would recommend them

I have to say, I'm not too impressed now but appreciate that others have had a good service from Flybe. Guess I've just been unlucky. I'm just going to stick with my Lloyds TSB card - I've never had any problems with them. Wish I'd never thought about getting another card now :( x

    Hey naijapower,

I'll just stay with Lloyds. They havent' said no but just due to all the hassle I don't feel overly confident about it now. I know no-one has an entitlement to credit but just feel somewhat disappointed that I have had these problems when I have no adverse data - the 4 accounts I do have, have never been behind. Just coupled with the added searches etc - its kind put me off applying anywhere else.

I'm more getting worried about the CIFAS things that Flybe apparently put on folks files for no apparent reason - I think it looks dodgy that they have two applications running for me at the same time (their fault though) and would hate to think that this would give them a reason to flag something on my file because it would effect my job. There is nothing so far though so hopefully it'll stay that way x

Well you may aswell get the card now when they make their decision as the searches are already on your report. After that is sorted write to them and get them to remove one of the searches. Im sure they will do this without any fuss as its obvious as to why there is 2. A brief letter should do the trick easily. When they say 14 days it will just be standard I am sure you will know this week.

    Thanks Parki,

Are there a lot of referrals and non instant decisions at the moment with lending being tighter? How many other peeps have been successful after being referred?

    Thanks again all x
