Flybe Card

I've been very pleased with my Flybe. Not had to contact them yet though.
Their account online page is excellent and apart from the nice high credit limit the best thing about them is they avoid all the annoying online 'securecode' crap which messes with the checkout process on many sites. That entire system is a joke (all fur coat and no knickers) and Flybe and Vanquis don't use it I'm very pleased to say.0 -

Has anyone who doesn't have loads and loads of credit been successful with Flybe? x xCurrent Accounts with Lloyds TSB and Bank of Scotland

I'm guessing your refering to me, it was definetly what I would consider out of office hours, around 19:45 on Friday evening.
Just called them up and I'm getting a limit of £2000 at 19.9% (Rate B according to their site, Rate A is 16.9% with Rate C being 24.9%). Could be better I suppose but it'll allow me to transfer a couple of balances and then close those cards off.
Do they tend to up the limit after a few months or are they fairly static?0 -
Hi, I have read somewhere on the forum that most people who applied for sagma Credit card had a CIFAS also placed on there credit report - Is still worth applying for this card then?0

I had mine for about 6 months or so and they increased my limit from £3000 to £4500

When I looked at their site, I think it said their opening hours were till 8 or 9 pm so maybe you were ok as opposed to me applying in the middle of the night, lol!
Or perhaps I just don't meet their criteria. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed. I'm going to check and see if they have done a credit check cos their opening hours on their website states they are open on a Sunday also so maybe they processed it today, lol! x xCurrent Accounts with Lloyds TSB and Bank of Scotland

Mmmmmmmm, phoned Flybe this morning and apparently there was a problem with my application ..... something had not gone through properly when I applied online apparently so the lady said she would speak to the underwriters and they said they were going to cancel the original application and I should apply again so I gave all my details again to the lady on the phone and still no decision. Apparently it has to go to the underwriters and then they will be in contact with me within 14 days
. She said I shouldn't worry but I can't help but not worry now. I don't have any adverse info so am a bit confused as to what the problem is now x x Current Accounts with Lloyds TSB and Bank of Scotland
