Hi all,
Can you believe i posted a long one and lost it yesterday!
Anyhow - I'll try and remember what i said..(Ok if i havent lost it and missed it when I've just read back I'm sorry...It's 2:45 am I can be forgiven! lol
welcome newbies - sorry i did mention you by name but too tired to read back. It'll be lovely to eventually join you all and gain support myself.
Bitsy - i dont know whats worse playground gossips ie mothers or work gossips. Dont feel guilty about the childminder money bit - your doing you bit AND bringing your children up how you want too. Its admiral.
Red- looked at your sig.wow youve done well there! Time of the month sucks!
SM - You mentioned grapes...you tried them frozen? There like boiled sweets
Me in a nutshell: Still pregnant.40&6 days. Had a mini sweep friday , having a proper one Saturday when she thinks i'll be more ready for it....Had a stressful week, harrasment issues and police involved but best not to mention it properly, dragging it up again. Hopefully its over now... Bit annoyed as my meal planning has completely gone out of the window because of everything and we have had a lot of takeaways...more lbs £££'s !
I've never had a late baby so I'd planned for everything ..tesco delivery etc and now it looks like we'll need another order again.
Also - saw my friend the other day who told me that I look slimmer now than before - not sure HOW that works out when im due anytime. Who needs friends hey!She said she meant around the hip area...hmm.Is she trying to tell me something!
anxious mother waiting to see her baby,

SW - hope the sweep works for you. I had 3, yes 3 and none of them worked. Hope that's not the case with you!
Perhaps you look slimmer because bubs has dropped?
Trying to stay away from weighing myself. Slipped back into doing it every day and I put on 2lb and I know that if it fluctuates it's going to demotivate me.
Haven't really got time to post now, will check the thread later. Sorry kids calling me!!!I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

right i'm in! i dont have scales and i dont want to weigh myself but i am currently a size 18/20 and want to get down to a 12!!
I've got a great idea to pass on for those of you who have had a baby this year, put a hot water bottle on your stomach for about an 1 hour each evening, it will soon shift your baby belly, all you'll need to do then is tone up slightly, i've tried this method myself and noticed the difference in 4 days. Try it, it won't cost you anything :-) let me know what you think.:j0 -
Hi everyone,
Oo-er, your week does sound dodgy, Suzy, sorry to hear you've been having problems.
If it;s any consolation, I found stress did wonders for bringing on a late baby. I ended up trying to get the sale of a house completed literally the evening before my daughter put in an appearance, and I'm sure she would have been in there longer if I hadn't been running around like a blue-a55ed fly!Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

... 9 months of eating ice cream and chocolate (i did eat fruit as well honest) found its way to my hips and bum ...
so as off monday im declaring myself fat and in needed of shifting 2stoneand as i know we all find it hard to stay on the straight and narrow while the kids are bugging for sweets  or you can see the cake or chocolate in the supermarket and they're calling you to them
i thought i start something where we can come if we're feeling weak and need help ... now i dont know if this is the right place but i kinda figured it would run apart and parcel of the parent thread ...
so who wants to join me ... if you still got those few pounds being stubborn and you need help we're here.. so if your bubs is 2 weeks 2 months or 2 years ..
come one come all ...:D:D x

Well, I've had some news today that may affect my weight loss. It's incredibly early, of course, but just had a positive result on pregnancy test.....

HUGE congratulations Red :j:T
Anyway I find babies a perfectly acceptable reason for gaining weight!
Whoo hoo how exciting. Can you tell I'd really like another oneMind you when DD is doing her screeching and keeps waking early I normally change my mind. Will have to live vicariously through your pregnancy instead
Oh and I am going nowhere with my goal of getting slimmer  Have I been making the effort? NoooooooooooooooooooooooooooI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Bitsy - definately do not weigh your self every day - try to do it just once a week and it will keep your motivation going. Why dont you try what I do and go to the nurse at your gp once a month for a weigh in - I need the discipline of someone weighing me and its free
... I went this morning and I have lost another 9lbs this month - feeling very pleased with myself.
