It sounds like you have a busy weekend planned. Hope you have a really lovely time and find a little bit of time to relax and take it easy!
Glad to hear your OH enjoyed his birthday and that the meal turned out nice :T Well done on your impressive cooking skills.
That hair deal sounds fab and sure it will turn out lovely. At the min I tend to do my own hair but I'd love some professional highlights this summer. May have to look into it myself.
Hope you have nice time at the cinema and watching the football on sunday.
Gosh, saving £800 a month will mean it will build up in no time. You must have a really good job in order to manage to save that every month! What do you do? I'm tempted for a career change hehe!!Money paid out from Topcashback so far= £105.89 :j

Me too, i could do with some chillaxing, only one more week at work then one week off, yay! 5 days in Dublin then 2 to myself.
I used to colour my own hair, but stopped 2 years ago, i have blonde hair so it was discolouring it, so now stick to full head highlights every 6 weeks. I normally shop about for salons with offers, never stick to the same one as they never have offers.
I'm a trainee accountant, it's not something i want to do, don't enjoy it one bit, but its really good money and will do until i can join the police. I hope my volunteer work will help me get in. My OH thinks i'd be great, just want the opportunity to show them.
Right, signing off for the night, chillaxing on the sofa with a glass of rose. Waiting for OH to get home before starting dins, if he gets any later he may have to pick up a take-away on the way home.

That's a really good idea about shopping around for hair offers, thanks :T
Wow trainee accountant, that's really impressive. You must be really good at maths (I only scraped a gcse grade C so I don't think accountancy is for me after all hehe!) I didn't realise you wanted to join the police, must have missed that when reading your diary. I think you're voluntary work sounds like a great idea for getting experience to get into that line of work. I reallly hope you get in, if that's what you want. Do you know when you might look to apply?
Enjoy your evening, and hope you're OH gets home for some dinner soon. Although, takeaway sounds like a tempting alternative!Money paid out from Topcashback so far= £105.89 :j

I didn't enjoy maths at all at school, so it's weird that i have fallen into this line of work. It pays the bills that's all that matters until i can get into the police. I have wanted to join the police for years, but never persuade it, now I'm not getting any younger, 25 at the moment, so i have to get my bottom in gear and apply when they start recruiting. Ideally i'd of liked to have been in the police for 2-3 years before children, so want to get in ASAP so OH and I can start a family. Until then we'll buy our first house, get a dog, and concentrate on our careers.
Still no word from OH, it takes him an hour to drive home, i'll be time for breakfast soon.

Ohh didn't know you wanted to join the police too! That would be great if you got in. It is a really good job if you are cut out for it and sounds like you are.0 -

Well the weekend is over and it was back to work today! A few people had to pull out of the meal Saturday cos they were poorly, but we all still had a great evening. The restaurant was very posh and the food was really nice, and OH had a great evening. He acted surprised but he soon fessed up that he'd already guessed. He saw his mates cars in the car park, i saw them too and thought poo, he wil guess, but he already knew but didn't want to point the cars out because he knew it would upset me. Was a great evening though.
Yesterday was spent going to Sainsburys early, we spent £105, but that was for a couple of weeks. We are awful with the shopping cos we never buy cheap food, i like expensive stuff, like Tropicana, Innocent smoothies, and when they're on offer i probably spent £10 on just juices. And then my weekly vitality yogurts and drinks, i am bad, i shouldn't have of all that stuff but can't help it. Then took the car to the car wash, it's white and was looking more black than white. OH likes it to like perfect, its a year old BMW 1 series, and it's OH pride. He thinks we should get an Audi A4 in black, but they're like nearly £30K, we could afford it without any credit, but i just think its a family car and we should wait. I'll let OH get this Z4 and i'll get a Mini for a few years
Yesteday afternoon we watched the footie, and then played OH's new Mario game for the wii. It was meant to be an extra Valentines gift, but because we fly out on valentines, i know he'd want to play it, so gave it to him early. It's a good game though, we played for hours. It did get a bit frustrating when we couldn't do a level. You play together as a team which was cool.
It's that horrible time of the month for me, so when i got home from work, made OH and I yummy tacos, very nice indeed, then watched Dispatches about the Royal Mail, god they're shockingly bad.
I'm now in bed, and plan to try and get an early'ish night.
I was naughty yesterday and spent £35 on ASOS.com, i was just about to place my order when i rememberd i'd seen a 20% code on this forum, so saved myself £8 :j worryingly i got an e-mail earlier to say it's getting delvered by the royal mail, which means after seeing tonights show it will never show up. Great!!! I really wanted that jumper and top before Dublin on Sunday.

Sounds like your OH's meal was really nice the other night. Glad you had a lovely time
You shouldn't feel bad about buying nice things, if you can afford them why not? I miss Innocent smoothies, tropicana. Oh the days before MSE and I had to stop buying all those lovely luxury treats. We now have 56p value orange juice and it just isn't the sameMeh, hopefully one day I will be able to buy it again hehe.
You're OH's car sounds amazing, you're both very lucky!
Aww I feel for you and the dreaded time of the month.
Well done on saving the £8 on ASOS. Why spend more when you don't have to? Hope it turns up for your trip away.Money paid out from Topcashback so far= £105.89 :j

Thanks Hayley! I do feel bad spending more then needed on the shopping, but we hate cheap juices so its money wasted if we busy them. Plus OH buys Guinness's so its my treat to myself, only fair. We both don't smoke, hardly go out drinking, okay maybe the odd meal out every month, and the odd take-away, but that's it.
No parcel from ASOS yet, hopefully tomorrow or Thursday. I'm off work tomorrow as it's my princess nieces 3rd birthday. I was going to work but i wouldn't home till gone 6, the time we get to my sisters it'll be gone 7 and my niece will be in bed. So decided i'll chill in the morning, pop to Clintons to get some princess helium balloons for her, and a BIG princess gift bag for her pressies. I got some really cute pink cupcake paper, and just bought some bright pink and baby pink ribbon and bows, all looks so pretty, very impressed with my wrapping. Just need to get OH to print out a photo to go the the Disney Princess frame i've got her, i think i'll put a pic of me with OH an niece, she'll love that.
OH MY GOD, how cold has the weather got all of a sudden?!! It's freezing. We had the heating on 30 last night and the apartment still felt cold, madness. The weather man has predicted that Kent and South East will be worst hit with the snow this week, i really hope not as we fly out Sunday and we'd hate to be stuck at the airport with delays when we're only away for 4 nights.
Just about to start dinner, making a home made curry tonight with fresh nann, hopefully that'll warm us up. Footie is on tonight so that's what we'll be watching laters, may try and sneak in a bit of Mario too!! hehe!
